I ordered this as a replacement coat since the one I bought 1.5 weeks prior got taken, I believe accidentally, at an event. This coat was needed since he lost his original winter coat somehow and then with the prior being taken. This one looked great on him but the material seemed kind of stiff. We got this coat for our 12 year old to try out this winter. We live in the high desert and we get tons of snow every year, but also some really bitter, high winds and finding a really good quality, high performing winter coat is somewhat of a task every year. Right out of the package he put it on to check the fit and it fits perfectly. Well constructed of high quality water resistant material, it is super soft and comfortable without being entirely too bulky. He loves that coat so much after he put it on, he wore it around the house for hours. I had to force him to take it off and save it for when he really needs it and when it really matters. So far, he has had to wear it pretty much every day since we received it and he is not easy on his outerwear and it is holding up really well. I love that it is easy to spot clean too with just a damp cloth. He has gotten some mud on it several times and I don't have to launder the entire coat every time he starts to get it dirty I just take a warm dish cloth and wipe it clean. I would definitely recommend this winter coat for any kid really and the price is very reasonable in my opinion. Random unheard of brand name sure, but a quality jacket none the less 👌 My 5 yr old is happy with it even though it didn't come with 2 jumbo inside pockets like dad's favorite jacket did. We got the black one and it looks like the strips are actually reflective on the back and hood. My kiddo loves this jacket! The first thing he said is "it's so soft!" There's a fluffy lining inside that is soft and warm. The outer shell is waterproof and looks good. There are decorative stripes that I think are reflective. There's an inside pocket that closes with a piece of velcro. Not super secure but not bad. A small zippered pocket for a lift pass would be great, but not a deal breaker without it. The hood zips off as well. It runs a little large, but he'll grow into it. ... show more
