Great little light. I have a Armytek Tiara that has a similar size and feature set but I like this light much more. Both have high CRI LEDs, Magnetic bases, simple UI, and pocket clip. The magnet is slightly weaker but the Wuben is also lighter and it holds it up just as well. The thing that gives the edge is USB C charging, so I can charge it on the go, Armytek has a proprietary charger so not as convenient. I will say that you do have to press the USB cable into the light fairly hard but it charges fast and has a decent runtime especially with the cell size. ... show more

    • Really good flashlight with a great beam

This is a really good flashlight and the Green body color is very nice! First, this flashlight puts out a lot of light in a broad beam pattern which is great for walking at night. On "Turbo" it has a lot more throw than I expected for a light this small with its small reflectors; It will light up a tree or something similar at ~100 yards while still retaining a beam that is useful for lighting the path you are walking. On Turbo, this light will get warm pretty fast so, something to keep in mind if you are looking for sustained use at long range. Moonlight/Low mode is great for a dark hotel room or late night run to the bathroom so you don't disturb others. Medium and High modes are great for normal nighttime walks or looking for a misplaced item in a dark car trunk and similar uses. The size and form factor make this flashlight very easy to hold, use, and keep in a pocket or bag. Its small size and shape let it "disappear" when not needed while still retaining an easy-to-use form factor when you need it. I use the clip to attach it to my shirt collar when I need both hands free where it rides well and lights up the path I am walking or anything I am working on. The magnet base is very useful on a car hood or the engine when you are checking something at night and need more light than a single dim hood light can provide. In terms of runtime, the battery has about the same general capacity as a normal AA cell so, if you run it for long periods of time at high power levels, you will run the battery down. The good news is that it is easy to recharge, in my case with my cellphone, with a USB-C connector so, not really a concern for me. For someone forgetful, keeping a small battery charged could be a concern. However, on the non-Turbo modes, run time is very good for a battery this size. Overall, a great flashlight with great output for its small size, with good runtime for such a small battery, a great user experience with its great beam quality, a User Interface that is intuitive to use, a good clip and magnet in the base, and overall great build quality. ----------------------------------- Added October 7, 2024 I have been using this little flashlights a lot. It is super handy for general household uses and "out and about" while walking in the evening or while traveling when unloading the car in a motel parking lot and similar things. The small size and broad light output is very handy in everyday life. The width of the beam is very useful for finding things that may have been dropped or avoiding obstacles in my path at night. The battery may be small but, in my use, has never been a problem having never run out of power. It pairs well with my cellphone charger in the car too so, it is super easy to top off the battery when I have an evening outside. ... show more

Nicely packaged. Very cool little flashlight. The dual LEDs are an attention-getter, as is the small size. It runs nicely on a CR123A, though not at full power. The built-in rechargeable battery is much brighter on ultra-bright, but the CR123A doesn't provide enough power for ultra mode. Still, it's good to know that if you're away from a charger, you can pop in a lithium and keep using the light. Overall a very solid product from a company that looks like it takes this product line seriously! There's also an extension cap that lets you use a larger standard lithium rechargeable, but mine didn't come with that. And I was mainly interested in something tiny but bright. The selection button is logical and easy to use -- in default mode you just press to cycle through dim, medium, and bright. If you long press, you get ultra bright or a flashing red LED if there's not enough power. Then a single press returns to normal mode. It comes with a lanyard and a pair of replacement O-rings for the battery cover. ... show more

    • Perfect For A Midnight Raid To The Kitchen

This is a great “go to” every day carry. It’s super bright short range, but very little throw. It’s a great carry walking the dog, or finding your way in the dark. Perfect for a late night raid to the kitchen for a Devil Dog, or finding black in the snow. It’s a great “safety light” when you want to know what’s in front of you. I’m not a fan of pocket clips, but this one is convenient and easy to use. There’s a magnetic tail cap that comes in handy. It has a great actuator located at the top so you’re never fumbling around trying to find it in the dark. They offer an extension tube that’s a nice addition. It becomes a bit more clunky to catty, but it’ll increase your battery life. I bought one, but rarely use it. I’m a big fan of the design…it’s fun. It fits perfectly in my hand and pocket and when you don’t need any throw it’s perfect in the way it brightens everything in front of you. I give it a 10 when it comes to “Fun Factor” If they’d upgrade the throw I’d give it a 10 for performance. That limitation hurts, but if you buy it you’ll use it. It’s not going to wind up in the draw where you keep your coasters and the manual to the microwave you bought in 2014. ... show more

When people say this thing is built like a tank, they aren't kidding. Very heavy duty, nice and solid and has nice weight to it. And it goes ridiculously bright for its size. There are a few things I really don't like about it, but I'm still giving it a five star just because of the quality of this thing. You would think it would cost more. So what I don't like is that it is a one button Wonder, meaning one button does everything, turns it on and off and Cycles through all the brightness modes. Another thing I do not like is that you have to double click to access Turbo. And lastly, the button is really hard to find in the dark. It's on the top of the light, but when you push the top of the light you have to be pushing right on a certain spot toward the front of the top, otherwise you'll miss it entirely and you'll be fumbling for a few minutes trying to turn this thing on. Still worth it though just for the quality and the brightness. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, the bottom of it is magnetic and it comes with a clip so that you can clip it onto your clothes. Very versatile. And you can set it down without it rolling or falling over. If you're thinking about getting it, just get it, for the price you can't go wrong. ... show more
