The the waist and length of this pant is probably very true to labeled size. A lot of products are generous in their size for what is labeled. That is, you put on your favorite 35's and think "I didn't put weight on during the holidays", when really your favorite pant is a 36 with a 35 label. So buy an inch larger if your favorite pants are a bit too generous in their relaxed fit. I really like the ripstop fabric. I'm left handed, so I'd prefer the left and right pockets were identical. The cell phone pocket, on top of the right cargo pocket, is too small for all the current Android and iPhone standard models (forget the "max" sized models). This is my only significant disappointment in the design. I was really hoping for a good, deep, tight pocket to keep my phone secure as I'm up/down ladders, on my knees, etc. ... show more

I decided to stop wasting money on regular denim jeans. Even "traditional" Levi's, etc. are now made with denim that wears through at the pockets in a few months, or just kind of rots here and there for no reason – as if battery acid was splashed on them. I bought one pair of these Wrangler work pants to try them out. I like them so much I just ordered two more. The fabric is tough but comfortable. I do not expect that the flashlight, pocket knife, pen and nail clip I carry in my front pocket will wear through this fabric. Good build quality; cargo and other pockets are well-placed. I bought a pair of these pants last year, size 33x30. they are AMAZING. they are durable beyond belief. The problem was that 33 was a bit large on me, im usually somewhere between a 32-33. So i chose to get another pair, 32x30. I could barely even zip these pants up. Then I measured the "rise" of the pants, and i discovered that they took a whole inch away in the 32! So the 33 pants have a rise of 12.5". Plenty of room, and they're great if you like to wear your pants at your waist instead of your hips. The 32 pants have a rise of only 11.5". This is why i cant even pull them all the way up. the crotch is tiny. I have no clue what the rise would be if you bought a 34 or 36 or any other size really. but hope this will help someone ... show more

I have about a week's worth of wear in these pants so far, so it's probably a bit early to review them, but they are holding up well, and I am really pleased with them. They're thick and warmer than my jeans. I ordered a 33 waist and (maybe blame it on the holidays) they're just a smidge too tight. If I buy a second pair (which I likely will), I'll go with a 34. Pants are very good quality!! I am normally a 30 x 32. When I first ordered a 30 in these pants, it was far too tight. I went 31 x 32 and it fits great. Looks great, feels great, and is exactly what I was looking for. I liked them so much I got black, loden, and dark brown colors.

Bought these britches a little while ago, when I first got them, they were kinda stiff, of course I chock that up to the material and the fact that they are supposed to be strong enough to chase a convict through the woods and not get your seat ripped out by briars. After a few washings they've softened slightly but still stiff when I first put them on, they are really rugged, they should be for the price I paid, next time I go cave spelunking I know I'm in good pants! ... show more

I've been buying these since discovering in an Army/Navy store 12 years ago. They are excellent and rugged canvas pants and a much better value than Carparts. Side pockets are great for cargo, glasses, tools, phone, etc. Can't recommend enough!
