The details I mentioned are very relevant, and concerns me because it shows that the person who tailored it was rushing his/her work. Which may explain why countless threads of lint basically coat the clothing from the inside and outside, My original thought was that the tailor was inept but as I tried to rationalize the reasons for the dirty cotton and poor condition of the Cheongsam. I couldn't the Cheongsam so badly covered with lint of threads sticking out of the bottom and the collarbone section is no different. Well it actually is just as floppy looking as the rest of the Cheongsam. I could keep writing about the issues that need to be addressed with the uniform, but it would have me here a while, overall it is decent. ... show more

I am 6 ft tall and 165 lbs. and relatively lean. I Ended up buying the XL and it fits perfectly ending just under the middle of the shin. It is fitted to my frame while allowing a full range of motion for my shoulders and torso. If you are taller or heavier than me you may want to consider ordering a larger size. The open sides allow my legs to move easily without getting in the way. I would recommend this to people interested in traditional Chinese martial arts. ... show more

I travel by foot and live outside as much as I can, and this will be my main outfit to wear until it is no longer wearable, so I look forward to testing its durability. I have some silk to wear under it. I ordered size: large I am 5’10 or 152cm tall, weight 125 lbs or 56.7 kg. waist 26 inch waist 66cm. It seems to fit and wear nicely, I am washing it now and hang dry. Unless I notice anything serious wrong after it’s first wash I would say over all it is what I expected.
