Blue/WHITE Dask Light well made. Suction cups adhere to the glass. LOTS of Flash patterns to choose from. This device blows the competition LED OUTFITTERS at a fraction of the cost.

  • Great for the price
Color: Red / White
Very good unit for the price. 4 lights had red and white. Both very bright performances. Multiple flash patterns available. The suction cups held real good. The only issue I had in the car was that it covered up the sensor that dimed the ilights even in daylight. So I had to install it up off the dash a little bit. ... show more

  • Excellent temporary front-facing warning light
Color: Amber / White
As an amateur radio operator, I am often engaged in community service and emergency service activities. Having good safety lighting is important, but I didn't want anything that required permanent installation or vehicle modification. This light fit the bill. The metal frame serves as both support for the light and shield against reflections. Most of the public service events are during daylight hours, but emergency service activities can be any time. The shield works well to minimize reflections from blinding the driver and affecting night vision. You can still see the light reflected from the front of the vehicle, of course, and there is some reflection from the windshield, but the shielding is effective. The light comes with a rubber strip for the bottom of the metal shield to minimize reflections. The instruction illustration seemed to indicate the strip should be attached to the bottom of the shield, but I found it attached better and worked more effectively attached to the top inner surface of the shield. The adhesive takes a bit to set, which means there is time to adjust the location if you don't get it correct on the first attempt. Align the adhesive strip so that it is just inside the edge of the shield, then set it on a flat surface in the sun to help set the adhesive. Once it had set for a while, I was able to attach the unit high on the windshield just below the rearview mirror. My truck has a perforated light shade behind the mirror which interfered with attaching the two top suction cups - they need a flat surface to attach securely; the perforated surface did not provide a sufficient seal. I was able to attach one of them by using only one of the screw attachments and rotating it to the side. The unit has now been attached to the windshield for over a week with no indication of losing seal. The power cable is sufficiently long to allow routing across the top of the windshield above the visors, down the side, and across the center of the dashboard to an accessory power socket. Fortunately, the truck has a few of those available well within reach of the driver. The power switch and selector switch are both on the back of the plug. I strongly recommend being stopped before making any changes, whether turning the light on or off or selecting the flash pattern, even if the switches can be reached by the driver. There are several light sequence settings. For my application, I used a setting that alternated 1-3/2-4 so that with each flash there was one white and one yellow section illuminated. This kept the amount of light reasonably constant while still providing a moving light for effective warning. The shield was designed for a windshield angle that is slightly more sloped than the one in my truck. As attached, the light points slightly down towards the front of the vehicle. Most modern automobiles have a windshield with a slightly steeper angle. I would not recommend this for use in a vehicle with a near-vertical windshield. ... show more
