This is a complete kit with most things you need to use and care for your binoculars. These are straight through (if that's the right term), there are no prisms in the light path that makes them a little longer than some others; but the added length gives you more area to grip and hold them safely. The kit includes a neck cord, lens cleaning cloth, cell phone adapter, carrying/storage case (nicely padded), instruction and care pamphlet, and of course the binoculars. The two larger lens caps conveniently stay connected to the body of the binoculars which makes them difficult to misplace; the two caps for the eyepiece are connected together but are not connected to the body. Each eyepiece has a tube that can be extended for better clarity when using, but for persons with eyeglasses, they can be kept flush with the lenses so as not to interfere with glasses lenses. One of the eyepieces has a fine focus adjustment so that you can compensate for eyesight that is different in each eye. Once adjusted, this setting will be maintained unless you change it again, and is not influenced by focusing. The focusing is done with a wheel with ridges in the middle of the two body halves. I found this a little stiff when first unpacked but it seems to be turning more freely after a little use. It is fairly easy to focus, although I found the rocker arm focusing on other binoculars just a tad easier to use; perhaps it is just that I'm more familiar with that style. The two halves of the body are hinged in the middle so that you can adjust the interocular distance to match your eyes. The image through the lenses appears very clear; I could not see any abberations or distortions although I did not do any formal tests. These are what I consider lightweight for the power of the Binocular. We have another pair which are twice as strong, much heavier and for me, bulkier. We ordered these for me. We have a large property with a lot of trees. I can now see the Birds in our tree's without my hands hurting and almost dropping my Husbands Binoculars. These are very easy to use as long as you remember to take off the Lense cover! I can adjust the spacing for my face and my Husband's plus the right Lense has an additional adjustment to help compensate when you have glasses and each eye is a little different. Once I discovered this adjustment it made it easier for me to see clearly without using my glasses. The case is a strong case with a strap, the kit comes with an additional strap for the binoculars without the case. This also comes with an attachment for your phone which I thought was pretty cool, it snaps onto the phone and then has a cap to slide over one Lense allowing you to use the camera on your phone to take a shot thru the Lense of the Binocular! Maybe this is available on other Binoculars but it is new to me and pretty cool. I am very happy with my new binoculars which have everything I was looking for.     • Remarkably good quality for the price
Context: We travel a lot. I wanted a nice set of binoculars that I can take on trips. Not too heavy, good quality, and inexpensive enough that if they fall in the ocean, I'm upset but not devastated. I was hoping these would fit the bill. These are being used by an average-sized woman and a fairly large man. Our eye spacings are obviously very different. Additionally, we have different eye strengths and prescription glasses. We wanted something that was going to handle all that without onerous adjustments. These adjust to fit both of our faces perfectly, even with the pretty wide delta on sizes. There's even room to spare. These are going to fit a very large range of eye spacings. As advertised, they work with or without glasses with no issues. We can hand the binoculars back and forth and adjust on the fly like it's second nature. Super easy. This product has a couple of simple but nice features. The silicone end caps on the distal end are attached at the bottom of the lens, so they just pop off and hang down and out of the line of sight. The silicone end caps on the proximal end are connected to each other and also connected to the strap, so when you pop those off, they're secure. You're not losing any caps on this product unless you try to lose them. It also has a nice case, but I'll warn you, it's snug. Not the easiest to use, but very good quality once you have them in there. It also has a phone holder apparatus that grasps the phone, adjusts an eyepiece over the camera lens on the phone, and then slips over an eye piece on the binoculars so the phone can take a photo (or video) of what you're seeing through the lens. It takes a hot minute to get that straight, but it does work. I took off a single star because the case is hard to use and the phone attachment will not fit in the case. It really should be more like a half star off because the product itself is very nice for the cost. These are lightweight as noted in the description, and they are coated with something, some sort of rubberized material, that will definitely protect them a bit. As a side note, it's also pleasant to touch. It makes it feel kind of grippy and nice. The strap is not high end, but it's serviceable. I don't have any issues with it. All in all, this is a very nice product, especially for the price. It fits my criteria perfectly. I would have absolutely no issues recommending this to family or friends. ... show more

I really like these binoculars. The glass is clear (it uses bak-4 prisms, so if you've ever used those before it's pretty much the same end result), and the adjustment is smooth and easy. The carrying case is fine, the phone holder is pretty much useless though you can get it to work if you put some effort into it. You're just not going to be able to install it and focus accurately on the fly, so have it ready if you anticipate something you want to take a photo of.
