This doll was purchased as a gift for my 5 year old granddaughter, who has been requesting a "Baby Girl". She is much more life-like than any doll either my daughter or I ever dreamed of owning. She is vinyl, rather than silicone, and therefore, more affordable. Her skin coloration and facial features are very realistic. I wish I had eyelashes as long & thick as the doll's. Hands and feet are also quite detailed. She is permanently awake but appears to have only just woken up. She is cute but not a smiling baby. Her body is simply stuffed fabric with no detailing. Compared to a real infant, she is a little light-weight but does have a high cuddle factor. I was disappointed that her elbows and knees are not jointed, as this limits posing. She comes in a somewhat unattractive white sleep suit, but finding doll clothes or regular infant garb should not be a problem. Although my granddaughter is not a careless child, I do wonder how long this doll will stand up to the rigors of ordinary play time. ... show more
