This doll is absolutely adorable. From the painted thin hair strands on top of his little head, to the wispy eyelashes on his eyelids, to the perfect ears and the shadowed muscles and fat and ridges on his head and arms and body (which is anatomically correct), to the tiny little fingernails that look exactly like a real baby. The weight feels real, too! Everything is precisely molded to appear realistic. The little hands even have lines on them. Wow. This is my first fully-vinyl doll - the others I've purchased in the past were beanbag bodies (cloth) with vinyl arms and legs. Out of them all, my kid loves this one the best. It's the only "boy" doll, but I think aside from that my child really enjoys the fact that it's fully vinyl. I guess that "feels more real" and is "so cute" compared to the other dolls. He even has a belly button! I think this is a good price point for this doll, as it's fully vinyl and the price currently is comparable to the other dolls that have cloth bodies. That said, many of those babies came with more items than this one did, but because it's fully vinyl for a similar price point I kind of let that go. It's fine. Overall, this doll gets carried around everywhere and my kid makes me babysit him when she's busy. So if you need to be told how much she loves it - there you go. This doll is absolutely adorable. He comes with a bottle and a diaper and is anatomically correct which we weren't expecting. He's weighted just like an actual baby (maybe not as heavy) and nestles perfectly into your arms. From the realistic eyelashes, to the painted on, natural looking hair, and even a belly button not a detail seems to be missed. Great value for the price. We have a 6-month-old baby boy child, and this doll is incredibly anatomically realistic. The doll is a little heavy feeling for a doll and not quite as soft to the touch as I would have preferred. Our friend just gave birth to a baby boy, and she has a 2-year-old daughter. I am hoping the daughter will like a "baby" of her own to take care of like Mommy. The doll looks like the picture without the pacifier holder. I do like how the pacifier stays in place magnetically and the doll also has a bottle. This doll is absolutely gorgeous. It has some weight to it, and the features make it look real. I got this for my daughter, but I can see how it could even be beneficial for adults as well.

This looks exactly like the photo (minus the beaded pacifier holder and blanket). The painted hair is very natural as well as all of the coloring and little folds of "fat" on the skinny baby legs. It's so realistic that it's almost freaky. Best to check with you child first to see if they want a baby that is so realistic. I thought that my 7 year old granddaughter (who doesn't really play with dolls) might like this one since it seemed so real. However she was reluctant to hold the baby at first. My 3 and 4 year old granddaughters are totally in love with our new sleeping baby boy, Levi! They are fascinated that he has weight to him and his magnetic binkie is fascinating every time they give it to him. They do keep asking when he will open his eyes though. Well made!
