I got this doll for myself and he is adorable beyond words! He has a cloth body which makes him cuddly, he's nicely weighted and that makes him a good doll even for the smaller children because he's not too heavy to hold. This doll is gorgeous. I attached a lot of pictures because it's so cute and photogenic and I also wanted to show a few things about it. The eyelashes are insanely long and a weird pinkish red color. In the pictures you can see I trimmed the lashes and took pics with only one side trimmed to show the difference. The level of detail is phenomenal for the price. Included in pics, you can see some mottling of the skin and a few very fine, faint veins as well as the hair. The body is very soft and cuddly and is weighted a bit, but much lighter than a real baby. The head is a bit floppy, but not realistically so. It doesn't really hold many poses - you have to kind of prop it up. I wish its head was a little bigger (the hat adds a little size, but it covers up the cute hair and ears). I also wish the whole doll was a little bigger, but it's a standard size for this kind of doll. I've included pics of the doll wearing some newborn size clothes - preemie would probably fit better, but they're hard to find. I think its face is a little too pretty to be more realistic - some mottling of the skin on the face would be nice. Its eyes are also more wide open than most real newborns. But those are minor things - this doll is a great choice - I would have been in heaven if I'd had a doll like this when I was a kid. ☺️ ... show more

My 6 year old asked for a reborn baby for her birthday. It was a girl. For Christmas she got a gift card and wanted a baby boy with his eyes opened vs closed. After much searching we decided on this baby doll. Even though these baby dolls are much much cheaper versus a high quality reborn baby doll, I'm still extremely impressed. It is exactly as pictured. Weighted cloth body and so many little details like eyelashes, fingernails, painted hair and soft "skin" legs/arms. I love that they come with an outfit, bottle, pacifier, shoes and birth certificate. My daughter loves him and treats him with care like a real baby. Preemie clothes would probably fit best. He is a super-cute little guy. Only thing that might make him better is if they put a little more weight into their bottoms to feel just a bit more real while holding him. "Jimmy" is not only beautiful but feels so real in my arms as he is weighted just right. I love the cloth body best because you can cuddle nicely with him. I love his quirky smile and his eyes that seem to follow mine. His paint has been very well done and his clothes are cute and durable. This doll is perfect from his painted hair to his little eye lashes. He is EXACTLY as described! He isn't as heavy as I would have liked, but he still is great to cuddle with.
