It is pretty nice, esp for the money. Apparently hand made, with some nice hand-carvings on the top. My dislikes were: 1) Made out off some cheap wood (allegedly mango wood, not much grain or natural color) . 2) The stain they put on it looks horrible. Looks like it is smeared with something unpleasant. But factoring in the low cost: I ended up sanding the whole thing, refinished with teak oil and sprayed on some black lacquer from a can. Took about a whole spray can per table. Once the black lackquer dried, gave it a few coats of spar urethane (wipe on poly) because the lacquer is rather soft. Now it looks rather nice, a high-end piece of furniture. I think is is best to use a solid color, there is not much nice wood grain to show off. I have now 3 of these. If you are willing to do some refinishing, you will end up with a rather nice end table, for reasonable money. See picture of how it looks refinished. I though it would be nice to have some extra weight in the base, (like a bag of buckshot) , but surprisingly it is not very tippy as it is. ... show more

I love this little table! It's so hard to find anything unique now and everything seems to be made out of MDF with black bars. At this price point, I would call it a win for sure! The top doesn't lend to piling up fine crystal glasses, but great for light duty accent furniture. It comes in just two pieces for the easiest of assembly.     • Beautiful but split in half
It’s a beautiful table but I’ve owned it for about three months and it split completely in half. I noticed a crack and discoloration when it arrived but it was too much of a hassle to return as I had just moved. I awoke this morning to find it split in two, all my decorations spilled to the floor. I suppose my advice if you buy this table is check for cracks, return if you see one, and if you don’t keep a tub of super glue on hand. ... show more

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SMALL TABLE. BEAUTIFUL WORKMANSHIP IN THE CARVING. WOULD HAVE EXPECTED TO PAY MUCH MORE HAD IT BEEN MADE IN THE USA INSTEAD OF INDIA. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT FOR SOMEONE LOOKING FOR A SMALL SIDE TABLE. I WANTED TO USE IT BY MY BED TO PLACE MY PHONE AND A BEVERAGE ON, BUT THERE IS GENEROUS ROOM FOR ANYTHING ADDITIONAL.
