This works amazing for far for my kitchen. Very thick and easy to apply. Easy to also match two pieces together as well compared to others I have tried. It can rip easily if too much pressure is applied to it, but hard to do unless cutting. Recommend using a hair dryer on warm setting and medium to make it get the corners sharper and stick better to the sides. Nice texture and worth the money. ... show more

I needed to make a backsplash for my bathroom sink and didn't have money for tiles. Bought some foam core board, folded it in half, covered it with the adhesive backed woodgrain paper, and it turned out pretty nice! The only thing I didn't like was the smell... it smells like paint. But i've used contact paper before and the smell usually goes away in a few days. I really like the color and the slight texture of the faux wood grain. It was a tiny bit too shiny, but I can live with that. Good product! ... show more

We found this to be really easy to install. It is thicker than a paper we tried previously so it was more forgiving if you need to pull it and reapply it a little bit. The grain also matches up seamlessly in most areas so we didn’t need to worry about alignment. Pretty realistic for a renter friendly setup. Color was as pictured. All I did was a small countertop. It was easy and took about 30-45 minutes. The seam lines are not very obvious with this pattern and the back is very sticky (though still gives time for re-positioning). Was glad I bought the tool kit with exacto knife though ($6 on amazon). that made it easier to slowly fit it to the sink. ... show more

I got this Ashley table second hand and it had some water spots that drove me mad. It’ll be a while before we find the “perfect” table so…I needed to fix this. This contact paper PERFECTLY matched my Early American stained butcher block countertops. The paper is slightly thin (but very durable material) so any little spots on your surface that are raised will show as a bubble so make sure your surface is as smooth as possible beforehand. This large kitchen table took me about an hour to cover. I used a heat gun to pull the paper down over the edges before using a razor blade knife to trim the edges. I now LOVE my table. Highly recommend having a helper if doing a large surface so one person can slowly pull the backing away as the other person smooths out bubbles. I purchased the $5 kit from Amazon for vinyl application that was recommended by Amazon. Worth every penny as it made the process much easier. Does it look like “real wood”..no. But it absolutely looks just like a faux wood engineered countertop…it doesn’t look like contact paper on a table. If you need to spice up an old piece of furniture I absolutely recommend you give this a try! ... show more

I had high hopes for this paper yet I’m super disappointed. It has a high sheen which caught me off guard yet I decided to still go through with my project. I put up wallpaper often and did all of the proper prep before putting this paper up. Sadly it left me disappointed and frankly I wasted money. Once I finished installation the paper fell off it bubbled in certain spots. It took a lot of time and energy to prep for nothing. A total waste. ... show more
