We painted an accent wall in our new house and I wanted to paint a branch with either dogwood or cherry blossoms on it. I thought it would be great to buy these decals to get an idea of what it would look like. Honestly, if they had worked out, I might have just used the decals instead of painting, but I digress... After putting up the first branch, I discovered that on a darker wall, the adhesive backing stands out like a sore thumb. It was hard to see the flowers because the backing was so obvious. When I moved it over to the white wall, it looked fine (it's still there for now). - Another thing to know is that even though there is a guide showing how to put the pieces together, it is very easy to mix and match. If you are creative, do it YOUR way. If you don't like it, it's easy to peel off and try again. - Be warned - this stuff likes to stick to itself. Either have a helper hold the bottom part of the longer sections as you work with them, or stick the bottom part to your nose as you work with the top part. (This worked for me, but everybody is different so use a body part that works for you.) - If it does stick to itself, be PATIENT as you unstick it or you may tear or damage it. ... show more

Easily sticks on my newly painted bathroom wall. I removed an old scene that had been a part of our bathroom for years. This one is very similar in how it clings to the wall, but with a new, updated look. It turned out just as I wanted. Good buy.

The area where there’s no images is not clear so you can tell that it’s an adhesive. Makes it look kind of cheap. Ok for kids room. It did pull off the paint when I took it off the wall so that was also not as expected.

Hard to remove from paper. Images are not as big as they appear in advertisement. This is a puzzle, many pieces you have to put together, pieces are numbered, but not very clear as to how they go together. Having said all that, if u think smaller, and a little challenge, it turns out very pretty!
