Often lipsticks transfer too much and are not hydrating, so I decided to give this lip tint a try! It gives a beautiful color, but barely lasts half the day. It does sting, especially if your lips are chronically dry like mine, but its very mild. The one huge plus side though is that I can get the color of lipstick, with the hydration of a lip balm or gloss overtop, which is mainly what I bought this for- and it does the trick!! It is very easy to use, the applicator is very nice, and the packaging is well made too. If the feeling of lipstick, or how it transfers bothers you, definitely give this a shot! Mine didn't last too long. Also, no joke, you can exfoliate your lips prior to putting it on and it will still cling to parts of your lip that are dryer. I'd advise to leave the mask on as long as possible without peeling it off. And I suggest to not get the spray, because if you're not careful it will eat away at your foundation. The color is vibrant and beautiful, but it doesn’t last long on my lips. It cracks and starts to come off my lips during the day. It’s not smudge proof that’s for sure even when dry. It dries up your lips very easily after 1 single use. I applied chapstick right after. Maybe that’s the reason why it starts to smudge right off because I use chapstick. But my lips needs to be moisturized right after using this. I just wish it would last longer than a day. Even when eating food or kissing your significant other. It shouldn’t smudge instantly. So sad about all this. I really need a lip stain so I don’t have to constantly re-apply a lipstick many times during the day. ... show more

The product itself is good but there’s no real instructions on the package. They refer you to their website but finding the instructions is nearly impossible and just as vague. No real indication as to how long to leave it on, etc. also the color was much darker and browner than depicted. It did stain my lips nicely and was good, drink, and kiss proof. This was really neat to try out and I believe it’s worth every penny. I tried it for a few days using different lengths of time to let it sit on my lips before using the activator and loved the results from all of it. I paid $28 for this and it lasted about 3 months with use about 3-4 times a week. A traditional lip stick @~$10 usually lasts me about a year. I stopped using the spray when I realized that any liquid (saliva included) will remove the purple lip cover. Maybe it does something I didn't realize but I didn't want another chemical on my face if it was unnecessary. Even with the spray it didn't peal off like it does in the video. Anyhoo, I like this a lot. I was going to buy it again but can't see why they increased the price. Maybe to pay for all of those facebook ads. If I put this on at 6 AM, it was still on through lunch. I like it. I like the color. Not sure if I will buy again because I am tired of the price gouging on everything. ... show more
