So I’ve bought this a few times in multiple colors and I’ve been using them for a few months now. How long it stays on definitely depends on how you prep your lips and what you’re eating throughout the day. I’ve had days where it stays on all day and is still there when I wake up, and I’ve had days where the middle of my lips fades because I’ve been eating something greasy or licking them too much. I also own another lip stain that’s popular right now (a peel off) and I would say that this one is easier to apply. It’s thinner and requires a bit of a steady hand. Also, if your lips are chapped or peeled in certain places, it’s going to stain those places darker. It would be good to regularly exfoliate your lips and/or keep them moisturized before using this stuff. I thought Wonderskin lip blading color stain seemed over priced. I bought the color Darling after trying other lip stains didn’t do much. I was instantly in love. It worked just like the videos showed. I only got the basic one. Like I said they are pricey. I didn’t want to buy the peel off kind and have to deal with that and needing to buy the gloss to go with it. It can make your lips feel a little dried out. Just a tiny bit. Nothing like the old fashioned long wearing lipsticks. I am addicted to lip balm and snack often so yes I can wear it off. It’s hard to just leave my lips alone. Great product. I bought this product because the older I get, the more I CANNOT STAND leaving lipstick marks on my coffee cups and water bottles. It's so gross. And I work from home so unless I am on camera for a meeting, I don't wear lipstick around the house. The thought of applying a lipstain in the morning and enjoying lightly hued (but dry) lips throughout the day appealed to me!m So I gave it a try! In a nutshell, this product works. I bought the Whimsical. I have olive/tanned skin and a natural pink/brown lip color. The Whimsical is a brownish red on me and provides more color than I expected (I was hoping for something closer to my natural lip color in a pink/nude hue). The color is very different than the sample pics online. It's easy to apply; I felt my lips drying out as the stain dried. It was easy to remove but continued to darken over the next couple of minutes. When I put a clear gloss on top, the color really popped. I won't be wearing a clear gloss, though since that would defeat the purpose of being lipstick-free. One recommendation: You will need to exfoliate and moisturize your lips really well before using this. My lips were a bit dry and had a crack on one side (it's dry here and the weather turned cold recently, making my lips chap right away) so the color was uneven in the corner of my mouth. Also, make sure to apply a smooth, generous coat (kinda like if you were applying a second coat of nailpolish), only make sure to apply the stain evenly and immediately. If you apply a coat, wait a few seconds and then try to back over with another coat, it won't work. The first coat will smear and you won't be able to apply over it (like I said, like nail polish). I ate dinner right away and immediately after, noticed that the color generally stayed on my lips but the outline was darker (like a lipliner). I hope this is just a symptom of my dry lips and will improve after exfoliation and moisturizing for next time. Lastly, when I received the tube, the product was sealed in a plastic wrap. However, when I removed the stick from the tube, there was product all over the top instead of being clean so I certainly hope this wasn't previously used and re-sealed (see picture)! They lost a star because of this. ... show more

I tried the wipe off version first and liked it but wanted to try the peel and reveal version so I bought the set. I had high hopes for $35 but was a little disappointed to be honest. First I followed the instructions to the letter and after 4 seperate attempts have yet to be able to get it to peel off. Each time I ended up having to wipe it off. The color transfer was nice but as you can see in the picture above it faded and washed off before half my work day was complete (roughly 4 hours later). It doesn't fade evenly so it looks a little weird as it starts to wear off. Granted I did eat breakfast and drink tea so this type of wearing off would be expected for regular liptsticks as well but I was hoping for some real staying power. Since there is a process to apply it I can't really step away from my desk at the office to go reapply throughout the day. Application is a little tricky and the peal and reveal isn't really a thing. Color transfer is great, nice and bold and looks really nice after a clear coat of gloss is applied. Staying power is weak but better then a regular lipstick. ... show more

I fully accept that I am not a make up girl. I always feel overwhelmed and I second guess the choices I make in make up. But my friend recommended this product to me for an event that I needed to wear red lipstick too. I do not prefer the greasy texture of most lipsticks and end up taking it off pretty quickly. Enter Wonderskin. I am able to confidently wear lipstick (well color) and not second guess myself or immediately wipe it off. One because you can't wipe it off! This stuff stays on all night! and secondly, because it does not have a weird texture at all. I apply (its blue and my kids find it hilarious!), wipe off and then top with my favorite chapstick. I am a 55-year-old who doesn't always wear makeup, and when I do it's very natural-looking. My skin is pretty fair, and my lips don't have a lot of color. I ordered Charming; I was super-skeptical that this product would look natural enough and/or do what the Instagram influencers said -- LOL! I was very happily surprised to find that Wonderskin delivers! I followed the directions and applied it to my lips, let it dry completely, then used a damp paper towel to wipe off the crazy blue color. My lips are dry so I applied some lip balm over it and now I can't stop noticing how much more color my lips seem to have but not an unnatural color at all!
