I bought this glue a few months back. I was hesitant because of the bad reviews. Let me tell yall, this stuff holds!!!! I got baptized with this glue holding my hair down and it DID NOT BUDGE 🙌🙌🙌 Now, the night before my baptism, I dunked my head under water like I was being baptized because ya girl was hesitant!!! DO NOT BUY THIS GLUE, IT WILL RUIN YOUR LACE. I bough this because I wanted something that would last longer than the spray, since the spray regularly and it’s great. 1. Glue comes out of out the bottle tacky and I thought this was odd. I expected it to be looser considering the brush applicator. Therefore, the application is EXTREMELY MESSY. The glue strings are a disaster when trying to get the applicator brush out of the bottle. And because the glue is already pre tacky, it makes it more difficult to actually apply to the skin. 2. The glue doesn’t actually dry for some reason. I put one layer (since the glue is already so thick and tacking straight from the bottle) and it never dried and I mean 2 days later it was STILL tacky. And you would think that since glue is initially tacky that it would dry faster and it did not and I sat with the blowdryer on cool for 10 minutes. And since it did not dry, my wig was sliding back. 3. Removal sucks especially if you don’t have the remover recommended on the bottle (no I never bought it). I spent 2 weeks trying to get a 1 cm wide single layer of glue off of my 4x4 lace. And forbid you accidentally get some on the hair itself because THATS gonna take a while to get off. I had to cut some of the lace OFF because glue wouldn’t come off. This process resulted in a lot of the hairs on the hairline of my wig to have to be pulled out. So I guess since it was hard to remove you could say its “water resistant.” 4. The glue itself is so thick it created a weird flashback/reflection and when I attempted to put darker makeup on top to blend it, the makeup still looks light and it look gross and cakey. Oh and even after washing the wig 5 times the glue was in fact still tacky. I will be sticking to the EBIN spray. It melts the lace WAY BETTER. It’s thin and dries fully. Ok so I have tried almost every brand,type and size of lace adhesives from clips and tape to probably a dozen brands of glue and to be honest this glue isn't bad, it dries incredibly fast compared to most other glues on the market which i thought I would love but paired with the instant tack of the glue and the ridiculous brush that comes attached to the lid- the whole thing became a nightmare situation yesterday when after having this bottle of glue for about 24hours, what I have left is a completely RUINED lace closure, 1 almost empty bottle of glue wearing a lot of the hair from the ruined closure. I tried everything, but the glue is so stringy it's impossible not to get it on your hands or in the hair and once you do get it on your hands good luck getting it off, I don't suggest rubbing alcohol at any point in time with this glue as it seems to make the glue thinner yes but also stickier. As you can see by the pictures there is no brush because it actually came apart from the lid while I was applying it and landed right smack in the hair. After many layers and many aggravating attempts I'm looking at a useless empty product, a very sore scalp and what was a beautiful lace closure that now is nothing but a big ol giant sticky hair ball. My advice is if you buy it go for the one without the brush, this product is just too thick and unbelievabley sticky for what looks like a cheap nail polish brush; point and squeeze tip would fare much better I think. ... show more
