I bought these hoping to save space in my tiny closet, but I don't really see a difference. I guess time will tell on the functionality of them.

    • These are tricky.
First off, these things are heavy duty, but the plastic is cheap. One of them (so far) has an end broken off and if I want to use it, I'll need to Gorilla Glue it into a stationary position. Second, I found out the hard way that, when the instructions have you mount both ends on your clothes bar, hang the hangers on it, and then simply slip one end off the bar, that's a disaster in the making. When you slip the end off, all the hangers fall off the Wonder Hanger. I learned that you hang one end on the clothes bar and then hang the hangers on it. Third, they really don't free up much room in your closet, especially if you hang bulky items of clothing. All in all, I'm hoping these things grow on me, but right now I'm not that impressed. ... show more

No space savings and hard to retrieve shirts. You save space by going vertical, and then need to leave a space to bring it up level to get items. If you need this type of thing, well....... Prioritize what you really wear and donate the rest to a charity. A simpler life reduces stress.

These hangers made reorganizing my closets highly successful and satisfying. In previous reviews I saw comments that stated that the hangers didn't actually save closet space, so it's important to know that I hung my articles of clothing on each of the Wonder Hangers in the vertical position. In this way I gained a minimum of a third more closet space. After using all of the Wonder Hangers in the 10 pack, I ordered the 12 pack set to share with my husband and to organize our coat closet. Using these hangers for our coats and jackets showed us how strong they are, as some of the coats were very heavy, and again, I gained at least a third more space for the coat closet. I do need to point out that my husband isn't using these hangers for his dress shirts because he feels that the collars tend to suffer by putting five of them so that they hang vertically. He's pretty enthusiastic, however, about using them to hang t-shirts and casual shirts with soft collars. I so wish I had discovered this product a lot sooner than I did, but better later than not at all. ... show more

After using these hangers for 2 days, they began to break. And I made sure that I was only hanging t-shirts and dress shirts on them. Not what I expected and certainly not worth what I spent on them. These are literally the worst thing I have ever tried for closet organising. The opening is so wide that literally every time I tried to move them items fell off onto the floor. I like the idea in theory but not at all in practice.

This is my 3rd and likely last purchase of these hangers...I have been replacing the first brand I bought as they one by one broke into a million pieces! I had also tried a metal version but they did not slide as nice on the closet rod. These wonder hangers are the best quality and now reside in 3 closets throughout my house, holding everything from tank tops to winter coats. We have a 1940's era split level so the closets are super tiny, and these help me find room for everything by condensing the rod space that my hangers take up.
