I bought this for my fiancé because she was always getting out of the shower in her towel wrapped aroud her body. She gets cold easily so I decided to purchase this for her. She loves it! It's so soft and fluffy and absorbs water well. However, the sizing is very off. I got her a small, and it's s medium, maybe even large practically. Nevertheless, it's great!     • If You're Tall, Keep Looking, This Robe is Not for You (Unless You're Anorexic)

Bottom Line: If you are sized average or petite, this will probably be a great fit for you. If your tall and/or short waisted, you might want to explore the zip-front instead. I had been considering a similar style robe offered from The Vermont Country Store at $74.95 (plus shipping). I had an Amazon Gift Card that I wanted to use and so I got this instead. I got a $40.00 robe and it will do, but overall, I am underwhelmed. I will probably end up eventually making my own. Cons: 1. The set-in belt is set way too high. While considered tall, I am only 5'8". However, I am all legs which makes me SHORT waisted (my inseam is 31.5", my 6'2" husband has a 31.5" inseam). The belt ties most comfortably under my breasts as if it is an Empire waist design. Pulled down as far as the shoulder-to-waist length allows, the belt line is a solid 3" above my belly button, and runs across my ribs, but not in a good way. For my comfort, tying under the breasts works best. 2. The pockets are TEENY TINY. The drop (the depth of the inside "pouch") is far too shallow making the bottom of the pocket way too close to the bottom of the opening. Only the smallest of items will actually stay IN the pocket, (like a hankie, or a pill container). My iPhone 7s, considered small by today's standard, does not completely fit and falls out easily when I move around. I have to ball up my fist to fit my entire hand in the pocket because with my fingers straight, my entire hand will not fit. It's like the pockets were designed for a child's robe. 3. I expected more volume or wrap around width for the XL size I purchased to accommodate my 38DDs. Most XLs provide ample room, this does not. It goes around but with little to spare. I probably should have ordered the 2XL - but I've never ordered a 2XL in my life. My husband though, does appreciate the cleavage. 4. The length is sufficient, but at 5'8" it hits me mid-calf. Based on the pictures, I was expecting closer to ankle length. It would need 4-5" added to be ankle length on me. Pros: 1. The robe is very soft and cuddly. 2. The robe is exceptionally warm. 3. The sleeve length is great, which is confusing given the other "off" dimensions. Out of the box the sleeves fall to my first knuckles. Rolled over once they're perfect. Regular sized folks will definitely have to roll them up. 4. The interior loop at the neck is sturdy and sufficient for hanging the robe on a hook. ... show more

This is exactly what I wanted. I love that the belt is attached so it doesn't fall off or "get lost". The length is perfect. It's warm yet still lightweight enough to wear on even warm nights. This would make a beautiful gift. I highly recommend it.

This was a gift that I returned for a smaller size. I was given a large but at 5’5” then I tripped several times going up the stairs. Very soft and warm so recommend - just be aware of the longer length.
