The fabric is very lightweight but not cheap, the drawstring waste is extremely comfortable and the pockets don’t gape or pull. Very flattering and were easy to dress up or down. The white is a little sheer but I wore nude colored underwear and it was fine. I loved these so much I ordered another pair in black. Sizing was consistent in both pairs. I bought one pair and they were great, super comfortable, I could move easily, waist very comfortable even kneeling , crouching, walking. When buying pants on ama zon be careful, read sizing carefully! I bought a 3x. My waist is 47, hips 53, ht 5'3. I could have tried the 4x, but I stuck with the 3x trusting the waist would work. IT DID. I'm very happy. Buying to use to look nice and be respectfully covered traveling in South America...( no shorts). These breathe, feel good, and I have bought 2 more pairs. It is hard to find these things online that fit . The drawstring does work. Not 50% linen/50% cotton. Do not put in dryer! I will update if necessary. ... show more

These were very nice but being short waisted I do not tuck my shirt in. The ruffle at the make any shirt pulled over puff out at the waist. That was the reason I returned them. I wish they didn’t have that ruffle the fit was nice other wise

They have a somewhat see through material and it almost has the feel of scrubs. Not really a linen feel but I haven’t dried them to fluff them yet. I got a size XL & I’m 5’6 185lbs EDIT: after fluffing them in the dryer they feel so much more “linen like” and aren’t stiff! I actually love them now

Ordered these for vacation and was disappointed when I got them. They are very comfortable. The material is fairly soft. They are slightly see through. They do not seem like linen to me. The legs are very wide which was not flattering on me. The main problem is I ordered according to size and they are huge. I’m sure I can shrink them since 100 % cotton and I will give that a try. I decided to keep them to wear around the house because they are comfortable but probably won’t wear out of the house. Will see after I shrink how they look. ... show more

These pants ripped in the crotch the first time I wore them. At Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. I was asked to leave as my crotch was OUT. Many traumatized children. Many ruined family photos. These are the widest legs I’ve ever seen. Clown-like to me. I don’t believe they’re 50% linen, and the packaging is terrible. They are crammed into a clear, plastic rectangular-cube container that should be at least twice the size. Better yet, why put pants into such a container? I’m obviously returning these pants, but I will say two positives: they seemed fairly true to size and the elastic seemed well sewn. ... show more
