    • Soft and Cozy for Lounging - Got it To Serve as a Robe

I wanted a long, hooded, sweatshirt material robe to keep me warm in the cooler months. This option fits the bill. I like that it zips the full way up the front (no pulling over my head to get it on/off), has the desired hoodie with pulls to tighten it up and reaches to just below my knees (I'm about 5'4.5"). The exterior is very much a sweatshirt type of styling and material. The interior is extremely soft. And, it has pockets. And, even though it feels warm the material is not overly bulky. One could easily wear this outside as a large sweater without looking like some Nanuk of the North (ie, super bulky adventurer ready Arctic weather adventures...). I literally just got it so haven't tried washing it yet to see how that goes (will update here if any negative results). Speaking of just getting it, it arrived from Amazon in what must have been a vacuum packed plastic wrap to keep the package a manageable size. As soon as I cut the plastic bag it was in I heard a "whoosh" and the thing puffed up. Here's the very odd part (and it's disappointing to me given what I was looking forward to!), I very definitely ordered the 'Navy Blue' color. Amazon sent me a 'Khaki Green'. Hmmm. Not what I desired at all (my skin color tends to look green when paired with green fabrics...I could never serve in the military and look good...). So that was wrong in terms of how Amazon fulfilled my order. I also ordered a size "Medium" based on the sizing chart located on the Amazon product page (my weight is roughly 112-113 lbs. - I'm slim and in good shape). Well, Amazon sent me a "2XL" - that should be ginormous. Surprisingly, that super large size is just a nice, comfortable loose fit on me (that will work okay with flannel jammies with this sweater worn as a robe. This size also gives me a slight buffer if the sweater shrinks at all when washed - I don't like clingy things). I just had to turn up the trim at the wrist on the sleeve to keep that from being too long (and I have longish arms...). I've decided to keep this sweater in spite of it not being at all the color I ordered, wanted or expected (it felt like a real letdown to me to not get the Navy Blue!). Moral of the story: If you want a long, soft comfy zipped hoodie sweater this may fit the bill for you. But be aware that as a 5'4.5" and 112-113 lbs person the "2XL" size was just slightly loose on me (pre-washing) and came to just below my knees in length (with lightweight exercise clothes trying it on). ... show more

I am the type of person who loves to wrap blankets around herself when she's cold. But then they fall off when I start walking around. Welp, now I have a solution! THIS JACKET/SWEATER! It's long (goes down to mid-calf, and I am 5'2"/106 pounds/32DD and ordered a SMALL) and super cozy as the inside is SO SO soft (and I wasn't even aware that was going to be the case until I opened up the package). I am actually currently wearing this sweater and I am so in love! I am wearing just a tank under it, and I am in a 68 degrees room and feeling perfectly comfortable. Loved the cut and the fabric. The black is a true black. The inside of this hoodie is luxuriously soft and fuzzy in a good way. The 3X-Large is really more like an XL or a 1X, though. I would buy at least two (maybe three) sizes larger than what you usually wear if you can. I usually wear a 3X and I couldn’t zip it if my life depended on it. Keeping it anyway because it feels so good on my arms. I highly recommend this hoodie but only if you order two sizes larger than what you usually wear! ... show more

This tunic sweatshirt is well made, and it's very soft with the velvet lining. However it does run small! I usually order up when I get sweatshirts, robes, or PJs because I like them loose. Even though I ordered up and it does fit, it's not nearly as loose as I expected, based on other items I've ordered (from multiple different manufacturers). My size is normally between a medium and large, and I ordered up to an XL, but although it's not snug, it's not as loose as I like or would have expected. Hopefully over time it might stretch out a bit, so I plan to keep it. But if you like a roomy, loose fit, you might want to order up two sizes. ... show more

I can't wait to wear it at work, where it's always freezing! I got an XL based off of their sizing chart and it fits perfectly, not roomy, but just right. The second one that came SMELLED SO AWFUL, potent indescribable smell (even though it came in vacuum vac bag) DISGUSTING I washed it 6 times and still could not get smell out!!!!
