I love these shoes! They are a mix of the keds and vans look. They’re two toned, the canvas is off white and the lace holes are silver instead of white. They fit slightly higher up on the foot than vans, they look less like a slip on shoe. They have a great cushion on the inside also, better than the vans! I ordered the vans also and compared them side by side. I haven’t even worn my vans because I love these shoes!! ... show more

These are pretty cute canvas sneakers. I went with my usual sneaker size which is 6 and received the sneakers and realized they were huge! I wanted to order a smaller size, but they did not have that as an option. They were very durable and would be very cute to wear.

    • Finally- a well designed canvas sneaker!
In a year of leather or poorly designed canvas sneakers, I finally found a pair of canvas sneakers I can wear! Only after about 6 pairs of badly fitting, overpriced, painful attempts. These fit my hard- to- fit foot wonderfully. These are better than Keds for half the price and much more room to move in. Keds still uses the sizing from 100 years ago .they are so small- my foot is 7 Wide- and I need an 8.5 WW in them. These shoes, on the other hand, have enough room to fit great. I have a wide foot, high arch and a narrow heel. These sneakers have the placement of the laces farther back to be opened fully for my high arch, to slide my foot into easily, then secure snugly for a good fit . I usually wear a size 7 Wide , but these are a regular 7 and fit great. If you have a wide foot- don't size up-you don't need to. I plan to order more of these sneakers now that I've found a decent fit! ... show more

These meet a need. They are well made and durable considering the cost. They are pretty comfortable and even have a decent amount of cushion in the sole. Only complaint is slight rubbing on my pinky toes from the firmer leather areas.

    • White canvas shoes are great, black ones painfully uncomfortable. Sizes runs big.
First thing that should be noted is that these shoes do run big. I am normally a 6 1/2 or seven but I had to return the size sevens for a size 6 and the size 6 fits perfectly. The second thing I’d like to talk about is part of this review specifically for the white canvas shoes and the second part are for the black as these are very different shoes. As for the white canvas shoes I am very happy with them! I do believe I wear them the most out of all my shoes. I plan on ordering another pair when I need to. They are exactly what I was looking for. And I absolutely would recommend those. Also a note about cleaning them: I use baking soda and dish detergent, use a scrubber brush to just scrub any dirt and stains out. Next rinse them out. After that if you like they can then be run through a delicate cycle in the washer. Then it is very important to dry by putting rolled up washcloth/towel inside the shoe and allow them to air dry overnight, this will ensure the shoes don’t get yellow staining as they dry. As for the last part of this review this portion will be specifically referencing the black pair of these shoes. The black pair are actually a completely different design. They have a padding at the top of the shoe that follows the shoe’s line around the back of the ankle above the heel... this padding was uncomfortable and brought on blisters. Those shoes I gave it one star and would not buy those again. In fact I emphatically suggest avoiding those. Save yourself the pain, hassle and money. ... show more

    • Glue on fabric and rubber comes off
I love these shoes and they are so comfortable and cute. The only issue is the glue that holds the sides to fabric is coming off after a few uses. I have these small puckers when walking that have separated from fabric and rubber base.
