I bought these in a size 9 wide and they didn't quite fit, so I returned for a size 9.5 wide. It seems that the 9 wide is wider than the 9.5 wide. Plus the seam at the heel of the shoe is really digging into my heel. I have shoes in a size 9 that are longer than these. Now I am getting a 10 wide and will compare. Other than that these shoes are cute, provide soft comfort, and stylish to wear with dress pants and with jeans. I really hope the next size fits. ... show more

Ordered the 9.5 wide and as soon as I opened them I thought they looked too short in length. Picture compares length of a different penny loafer style shoe in a 9.5 wide. The width seemed ok.
