The design of this dress is beautiful. The overall execution of the dress is to be lacking. First of all, I did the custom sizing and I think I needed to measure my top section smaller than I did. The mesh had to go immediately. It was yellow and thick and way way too much. I cut it off and the whole dress demeanor changed in a beautiful way. I did end up taking it in to be altered. Here is what I fixed: The sleeves and shoulders needed to be taken in, as did the whole top of the dress once you take the mesh off. The bottom of the dress doesn't flow out like in the pictures, it falls straight down but it is loose enough to not be form-fitting so I left it and hemmed the lace a bit since I'm wearing flats. Don't ask for the underlayer to be hemmed shorter, they did it too short. The bottom waistline of the dress doesn't come up to a point like in the picture so it needed to be adjusted to not look like a weird muffin top since it cinched in a bit on the sides. The image is me holding it tight in the back to what I had it altered to. But overall, I LOVE THIS DRESS. Even with it being only $200 and $260 worth of alterations, it is still cheaper than half of the other dresses I found that were somewhat close to this design. ... show more

I was worried by the reviews saying the mesh was thick and yellow, but the dress is exactly as pictured. The mesh is normal and definitely white, but to be fair, I did order the dress in white, not the ivory. So maybe the mesh on the ivory dress is yellow? Dunno, don't care because what I received is exactly what was advertised and if you actually measure yourself before ordering, it fits like a dream. I could not be happier! And it is so comfortable. Definitely a mermaid fit if god blessed you with curves but in the best way! ... show more

3 stars yes. Why? For 185 it’s a good dress. It’s as pictured, has the sleeves.doesn’t feel like a costume but that mesh just ain’t it. The mesh looks like they grabbed an old pool skimmer out of a smokers house and sewed it to the dress. Is it yellow, is it flesh colored? I’m confused. I guess if your are the color of a dead fish that smokes, the mesh will blend. And my gosh is the mesh thick. If I had $1000 laying around I could get a seamstress to fix it but next we would have to fix the color. I ordered ivory and what I got is stark white. I”ll start the return process and up date to see how that works. Honestly tho, if you could fix the mesh and you want a white dress, this could be perfect. ... show more

I bought this for anniversary photos, and the fit is pretty spot on, and the dress looks just like the photos. The mesh part doesn't match my skin tone, so if that were an option, it would be wonderful! The mesh is also a little thicker than it appears in the photos.

I wouldn't really call this ivory. It definitely looks white. The horrible mesh that's on the sleeves is ivory. Waist down fits true to size. The top part with the mesh is too big; it just hangs

You're gonna want to remove the mesh! It's uncomfortable and ugly. Then when you remove it you're gonna have to have it altered. So if you're looking to save a buck keep scrolling. The Length is perfect and the dress itself is beautiful if you get rid of the mesh

The dress is exactly like the picture and fits like a dream!! I am 5'3, 145, and bought a size 8. It is long and I will have to have it hemmed. I will also be removing the tan mesh on the sleeves and on the chest. But it's amazing

It's exactly like the picture. If you're really pale don't get the ivory option. I ended up cutting off the mesh sleeves. The dress is amazing.
