I ordered this in the orange pink and the color is gorgeous. I used to have a Lululemon cardigan in this color that I absolutely loved, so anything in this bright orange coral catches my eye. This is basically the lightweight workout version of that cardigan. And it is very lightweight! It came in a tiny bag and I honestly couldn't believe a cardigan would even fit in that small of a bag. I think the pictures made me believe this would be lightweight but it's a super thin layer, so keep that in mind. It's good for sunny weather with a light breeze. I docked a star because the arm length is unfortunately not long enough for me to use the thumb holes. I have long arms but never have an issue with the arm length of regular tops. The thumb hole on this is positioned a little too short so if I stick my thumbs through it, the material pulls hard against the inside of my first two fingers. It's not comfortable so I can't wear this as intended. I can pull it off as a regular cardigan as the slits fortunately are small enough to not just look like there are holes in what I'm wearing. The rest of the fit is true to size for me. I ordered a small and I normally wear a small in tops so it fits as I was hoping it would. I will still reach for this often as I love the color and the weather is warming up for me to wear lighter layers. Finally, a UV shirt that I truly love! I've been trying repeatedly to solve the problem of UV protection for my arms on the beach. Not so much when I'm in the water, then I can just keep my arms underwater, but for the hours sitting on the shore while my child is in the water. I've tried multiple long sleeve rashguard tops, and none of them have fit me correctly, with my petite arms and curvy figure. And unfortunately, the rashguard top I love which I've worn for several years does not come in long sleeve. I'd about given up when I saw this cardigan and figured sure, why not give it a shot? It's everything I wanted or could have asked for. The same thin, soft material as that one rashguard I have been unable to duplicate, which doesn't add any heat despite the coverage and dries quickly when it happens to get wet/sweaty. Sleeves that are easily cuffed for my petite arms. A flowy cut that can either be left open (with pockets!) for beach and casual wear or easily tied up into a knot for gardening and other yardwork where I can't afford the loose hanging material. The hot pink color is lovely, and should match the flowers in my swim skirt perfectly. It's bright and cheerful, and light enough that it shouldn't absorb heat the way black would. For reference, I'm 5'1", 130lb, and typically wear XS to S. I ordered a medium because I specifically wanted it to be loose on my arms, and it fits just about perfectly. The shoulders fall on my shoulders, the arms are comfortably loose and not insanely long (folding the cuffs up twice put the length at my wrists), and the fit across the body is pretty much identical to the model photos. Because of the nature of the garment style, I'd probably advise going up a size so that it can be flowy and loose. Having the arms skin tight wouldn't have been comfortable. I absolutely love this shirt, I'm looking forward to my daughter's summer beach trips now, and I will definitely consider getting it in other colors for gardening and yardwork.
