I am very picky when it comes to shoes, mainly because it's hard for me to find a pair that's comfortable. This pair was immediately comfortable from the first time I fit them on, they didn't even need any breaking in! This morning we ordered two more pairs, one in another color for myself and another pair for my 17-year-old daughter. She has an even harder time finding shoes that are comfortable. I persuaded her to try these on, and she loved them too. They are comfortable without socks or fit well with socks. A perfect summer shoe, with a decent amount of cushion and support in the sole. They seem to be well made and come in so many pretty colors. They are lightweight and have soft, breathable material. My white shoes arrived with a stain on it but wasn’t worth sending back to exchange since I knew they’d get dirty fairly quick anyways. Sizing is accurate, quality isn’t great but it’ll do. I definitely would NOT buy these if you’re planning to walk around a lot as the soles aren’t ideal. They’re good throw on shoes to just run out for some errands since they’re just slip ons. I buy a lot of cheap shoes on Amazon so I like to think I have realistic expectations for a pair of canvas sneakers priced under $30. I was just looking for a pair of lightweight casual slip-ons for kicking around the city this summer. Sadly, when I tried these on, there was an almost audible "womp womp" of disappointment. The soles are so unsubstantial -- it's weird to feel the ground so underfoot while wearing shoes. I can't imagine biking in them (I bet my feet would fold around the pedals lol). Also I think the sizing is skimpy. I'm a size 8.5 so I ordered 9's but they're not quite long enough, I can feel the end of the shoe against my toes with every step. Finally, the style is... well... Online they kinda remind me of Converse shorelines but in person they look like the ones I remember my aunt used to wear in the nursing home. On that note, I didn't wear these long but I can see how they'd be very comfortable and easy to get on/off. True story: when I ordered these sneakers I also bought a pair of "Obtaom" canvas slip-ons that I could not be happier with -- they're cute and sturdy and they were three bucks cheaper than these.
