What I like about these canvas shoes is that they are slip resistant. I don't have to worry about slipping with these shoes on my feet. I like the black and white colors. The colors make these shoes look modern. The value for these shoes is great. They were very affordable to buy. The only thing that I dislike about these shoes is that it doesn't come in a wide fit. My feet are not narrow, so I would have preferred an 8 wide shoe length for more comfort. If you have narrow feet, these shoes are prefect for you. But, if you have wide feet, like myself, find shoes that are a half or wide in length. ... show more

Very inexpensive for a decent pair of slip on shoes. Pretty comfortable. The only thing I didn’t like about them is that they are wide width than expected. I really thought these shoes were cute but, sadly, they weren't comfortable for me at all. When I took them out of the only slightly smooshed shoebox (which arrived in a white Amazon envelope), I had high hopes that they would look and feel as good as the canvas lace-up shoes that I wore throughout my childhood. Yes, they're made of canvas (with PVC soles), and yes, they look very nice; but they are actually on the stiff side and feel more like cardboard on my feet. The shoes have nice stretchy, striped inserts on each side of the decorative eyelets and faux shoelaces on the uppers. And they're fairly easy to slip on, despite their stiffness. But once they're on, they pinch on top. So beware if you're a shopper with a high instep (like me). Moreover, the shoes have only a thin layer of cushioning and no arch support at all. Since they were very inexpensive (priced about the same as a pair of no-frills flip-flops) they're probably a very good value for what they are. But I would recommend them only to shoppers who are on a tight budget, care a lot about style, and are fortunate enough to have near-perfect feet. ... show more

I got these to try because I love slip on sneakers. Gotta say they meet my needs. I did put some insoles in them and they are very comfortable with the insoles in, since alone they have no support really. I do, however, wish they came in half sizes. I ordered the size 9 but probably could easily do an 8 1/2. But otherwise they do fit and don't flop off my feet, when walking. ... show more
