I wore out my white canvas keds and didn’t wanna pay the money to buy the brand so I found these instead. Great quality and no difference between this and the Keds brand. No support in the shoe at all as most canvas shoes are like that but an average insert will fit.

I bought both these and the authentic Converse for comparison, and considering that these are less than 20 percent of the price of the authentic, these hold up really well. These are a deeper richer red. Which I love. However, the inside is less well padded (though not flimsy - just not as cushiony, especially on the sides of the shoe). The toe is also visibly boxier. Your foot will look wider. Great if you have a wide foot. Not ideal if you want to not look like you have a fat-ish foot. But if you, like me, just want a fun Converse knock-off at a fraction of the price (and, frankly, a price that is more reasonable for a canvas shoe -- I mean, why are the Converse so expensive?), then you should be really happy with these. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them, and I don't think anyone (besides my husband, or someone looking for the heel tag) would know that they are knockoffs. ... show more
