I loved the feel of this dress. Soft and thick, warm but not stifling. I don’t usually like turtlenecks but this neckline was not uncomfortable. The dress was not too clingy on my waistline. Only thing to make this dress better would be pockets.

The media could not be loaded. This is the very first review I’ve ever left for a product on Amazon and there’s a reason. This dress deserves a great review, and a great video to showcase how fabulous it is. For starters, I’m 5’5, 155, 45 y/o. Yes, this dress is a bit short but no shorter than any mini dress I own. I purchased it to pair with leggings and boots anyway, so the length wasn’t an initial concern. Even as shown in the video, you can see the length with a bare leg and heels and it is fine. I did purchase a large though to offer additional room in the hips/butt region, and maybe added length. I could’ve worn a Medium. I just wanted that extra room. Everything I love I mention in the attached video. The fabric is soft, comfy and not clingy. The weave is tight so it’s super warm. Can be worn with or without attached belt or with your own belt. As soon as I bought the red and tried it on, I immediately purchased the black. Now I want the grey and white. I’m addicted to this dress. It’s a must buy! This is a beautifully made dress if you can find one that is without defects, or if it isn't that important to you. I first got this in black, returned it due to uneven hemlines, and the replacement was perfection! So I ordered it in Navy, which also had an uneven hemline, exchanged it only to get one with uneven arms, belt loops and hem, exchanged it again only to receive a replacement that was stuffed into the bag inside out, balled up and with the bag fully open! I still looked it over and it was perfect EXCEPT whoever tried it on before I got it must have snagged a piece of jewelry on the neck, which caused a hole right in the front! AAAARGH!! DON'T WEAR JEWELRY WHEN TRYING ON SWEATERS! Now I have to return it and I'm too aggravated to reorder. Maybe I'll try again next month. That's how much I liked this sweater dress. It's soft even before washing, more so after. ONLY hand wash and don't put it in the dryer unless you want to shrink it! I am 5'3" 145lbs. 36DD size 10 or 12 petite in dresses, and purchased the black one in size Medium which fit slightly loose so I can wear a belt or not. The hem hits about 2 or 3 inches above my knees, so it's very versatile for however you want to style it. The neck is comfortably loose and the dress skims beautifully as it is nipped in at the waist. It looks very expensive and the quality of workmanship is impressive, as chenille is hard to work with. May explain why there are defective ones in the mix. If they straightened the hemlines and left off the unnecessary belt loops, they might eliminate this problem. This dress is so cute. I got tons of compliments on it. Its well made and looks "expensive" for a reasonable price. For reference, I am 5'2 147lbs. I am pear shaped (bigger on bottom than on top). A small fits perfectly. This dress allows for extra room for hips and thighs without becoming too tight or too short. Because I'm 5'2 it didn't fit like a mini dress but was still a good length that I could wear with a thigh high boot which was the look I was going for. It is warm without being suffocating, if that makes sense. This will easily become a closet staple . Get the sweater dress! ... show more

I really wanted to like this. This did not fit me right. The belt came up too high on the medium but the large was giant. This is definitely made for people that do not have any chest.

Purchased this sweater dress to wear to a fall/winter wedding on a 55 degree day. It is super warm, soft, cute and comfortable! It fits exactly as expected. For reference, I bought size L in Navy Blue, I am 5' 5" tall, around 170lbs and hourglass/pear shape. As you can see in the pictures, this is very figure-flattering and I feel that it balances out my shape well. Paired with some tights and ankle boots for a cute fall/winter wedding outfit. The dress is very cute , but This is the second one I ordered, and it has discoloration all over the fabric- at first I thought they were just fold marks, but there’s no way to get rid of them- so it looks cheap
