UPDATE: they shrank quite a bit after being washed in cold water and line dried. Both in width and at least 1 inch in length. Would definitely go for a larger size if there was one. Original review: I'm 5'7", normally wear US size 12 and I ordered a size up (X-Large) based on other reviews. These fit me pretty much like regular relaxed pants that you could wear outside, but a bit too snug for pajama pants I'd say. If there was a size larger available, I'd rather go with that (so that would be two sizes up from my normal L size). They are mid-rise, sit nicely on the waist (they tend to slide down eventually, but they do have a drawstring to prevent that), are somewhat relaxed around the hips, but not baggy. They fit me much more snug than the picture shows. They are a bit restricting and don't allow for all kinds of leg movements (one of the reasons I would go another size up if was possible). The length is just fine for me when standing up, when a leg is bend in the knee though it could get a tad short, since the fabric doesn't stretch). Total length for XL is about 41" (remember, they sit below the waist). The fabric is nice thick flannel, feels warm enough and very soft. It's not double brushed though, there's some fuzz on the outer side only and it's barely noticeable. The fabric is not heavyweight. One more thing to note, the current description on amazon is wrong for these pants, they do not have any pockets, nor do they have a fly (description was probably copied from some men's model). ... show more

    • I like these a lot more than I thought I would
Since we are all staying home these days in our comfy pants, I needed a few more pairs so after a lot of review-reading, I ordered three pairs of these. What a surprise! They are just the right weight - soft flannel but not too heavy - and the quality is much better than I expected. I ordered my normal size and they fit just right. I even washed them before I put them on and they came out of the dryer in good shape. I like these so much I ordered a couple more pairs. I probably will be living in them until we can all go out again, but at least I’ll be comfortable! UPDATE: I did order two more pairs of these - one from the same vendor as the original order and one from a different vendor (different vendors carry different patterns). The pair from the different vendor either ran very small or were mismarked because they were way too small. I had already washed them so I gave them to a friend who loves them so the quality was still good, but I advise trying them on quick before you wash them in case you have to return. ... show more

UPDATE: these did shrink a bit in the wash. Enough that I wouldn’t mind a size up. They still fit comfortably around the waist, but the hem hangs at my ankle now, and the pant leg is not quite as loose as it was before. The fabric does pill slightly, but not bad, and it doesn’t bother me. I am 5’6” and 125 lbs and I ordered a small. They fit absolutely perfectly. The hens just barely touch the floor, but don’t drag (and they aren’t obnoxiously high on my ankles). The waist band is well fitted, with elastic and pull strings. The elastic doesn’t feel too snug or tight, but I also don’t have to tie the strings to keep the pjs up. The flannel fabric is incredibly soft. It feels warm and cozy without being too hot. The leg is comfortably loose and not excessively baggy. My only recommendation would be to buy these in every color. If you’re like me, you’ll want to wear these all day, every day. ... show more

    • Two different pairs of pants
This is a super mixed review because I ordered these pajama pants in two different colors and sizes and got two completely different pairs of pajama pants. The reason the reviews of these pants are so mixed is that they are literally two different types of pajama pants. They should NOT be sold under the same listing. First, the good: I ordered the size large in the F1603 color. They are soft and flannel. Not TOO thick, but soft, cozy, and warm. These are the "Super Soft Flannel: pants described in the item description. The fit is just right - I am 5'4" and 160 pounds. A women's large is the size I expect to fit me, and these did. They can be seen in the first picture I have included, in which I am wearing them. You can see that the tie is also flannel. I'm short so they are a little long, but I like that. They fit my hips and stay on but aren't tight or constricting. I LOVE THEM and have been wearing them for about 48 hours despite the fact that I am usually a clean freak about what I'm wearing and when it was last washed. I am going to immediately order another pair in the red, because I am fairly certain from the photos that F1602 and F1603 are the same pant - they both have that thicker waistband and the tie that is the same flannel as the pant. The bad: I also ordered a size XL in color F1506. These are completely. Different. Pants. They are neither soft nor flannel. They are a thin cotton with no give. These pants in the EXTRA Large size are smaller than the other pants in the Large size. I ordered new PJ pants because my old ones had all torn because they didn't have any give to them, and I am certain that these new thin pants will rip as soon as I get out of bed at the wrong angle. They are shown in the second picture. As you can see, the tie is a different color and material than the pants. After one run through the washer and dryer, that tie is knotted so tight that I am going to have to cut it off and wear them without. Which will be fine, because they fit so tight! In the third picture you can sort of see what different materials they are. The soft flannel (color F1603) are on the bottom with the thin cotton (color F1506) on the top. I don't usually write Amazon reviews, but I was just so surprised when I ordered two of the same pant in different sizes and received two totally different pairs of pants, I had to share and explain where some of these mixed reviews are coming from. I wish I could give a 5 star rating to the flannels and a 2 star rating to the cotton ones. ... show more
