I bought one costume from spirit Halloween store and one from Amazon. If you’re going for more authentic and realistic from the movie definitely go with this one from Amazon. This one is a beautiful 2 piece and is silky. Compared to the one at spirit which feels more fabric and rough and looks cheaper, and it’s also a 1 piece. Even the mirabel signature looks just slapped on. I have the pictures of both in the review if you wish to see. Unfortunately the Amazon one I bought as an 2XL because the reviews made it seem that I had to size up but if I would’ve just gotten a Large or XL it would’ve been better because the skirt was too long for me. I’m 5’1. The shirt was a little to big but it fit me well enough wear it wasn’t too tight. It also had a zipper on the back. The Spirit Mirabel costume was a Large (12-14) and it fit me well. If that helps for size reference. I definitely would just get a this one. And maybe go 1 size up if you wish or your typical shirt size.I might return this one and get a size down. This dress is beautiful, I will try to summarize why I had to buy it 3 times and in the end I had to return all 3. I think I had the first dress delivered in a medium or large size in adult size (I don't remember the size right now) and when it arrived it didn't fit my daughter who usually wears a medium size but it fit my daughter who just turned 9 years old. Well, I returned it and ordered a size XXL, that dress arrived and my daughter measured it and the skirt fit her perfectly! But the blouse was small. So I said well, I'll order the XXL size and for sure the blouse will be bigger and the skirt won't be much difference. When the XXL arrived it was like it was for a 350 pound lady. By this time I was frustrated and returned all three. I would like to think that they got confused when they put them in the package because the sizes had nothing to do with each other. ... show more

Update: I decided to return it. Sadly this costume left me feeling lackluster. I was hoping that they would have a L for this costume but they only had medium. I was worried that the costume was gonna be too tight and not fit at all. It fits… sort of. I can’t explain it. The shirt fits but when I stretch my arms up, it goes up as well. However, not when I tuck my shirt in when wearing the skirt. I still feel a little restricted. The skirt fits fine and doesn’t drag. I’m a little disappointed on the quality. It’s very cheap. You can’t blame me for expecting more from what I spent. I bought a Belle costume last year for about the same price and the quality was phenomenal compared to this. Definitely NOT worth the price. Should’ve been $25 less in my opinion. The glasses and earrings suck so I’m not using those at all 😂 ... show more

I bought this for my daughter's school play, where she is mirabel. We got her normal size, and it was suprisingly small. When the product arrived, it had a flimsy plastic zipper on the skirt, that arrived broken. The shirt was too tight, and she needed help to get it off. I suggest getting a size or two larger if you want to buy this. Also, even in the photo, this has slightly creepy drawings on it. Pros: Good quality fabric but not much stretch. Vibrant colors and cute ( although some are creepy) designs. Con: Flimsy, poor quality zipper. It arrived broken. The costume runs so small. I’d definitely order a size or two up. ... show more

The top fits small, and the skirt fits long, FYI! Otherwise, the fabric is pretty good quality for a costume and it looks just like the photo.

    • Love the costume but runs small.
I wear a women’s 2XL and I purchased a size 3XL in the costume. The skirt fits fine but the top is extremely tight. I will have to alter it in order to wear it for Halloween. The over costume colors are great and look just like the outfit in the movie.
