The XL was too small on me even after letting out the ribbon in the back all the way. Just didn't fit right. I returned that size and got the 2XL and it fit much better. I purchased this corset in the purple and the dark green and both colors are absolutely gorgeous. The top scallop is a little lose ,where I feel my tatas might come out if I leaned over, but im going to use wardrobe tape and it should be just fine. I felt super sexy in this corset and even think I might buy more colors. This also comes with a thong, but to be fair to my review, I did not try them on. I mainly purchased this for the corset. It’s, in my opinion, really great quality. The boning is very stiff and holds you in nicely. I measured my waist before and after and it took almost 3-4 inches off!!! The good: -affordable and ships quickly -comes in loads of colors -arrives pre-laced and ready to wear -supported my 38J chest well enough that I didn’t need a bra The not-so-good: -you’re absolutely getting what you pay for here: the boning feels like cheap plastic, the ribbon isn’t the sturdiest. This is definitely a costume piece and not something I would recommend for long-term wear. -if you’re short and plus size (like me), this may present some issues. The boning on the side collapsed while I was wearing it which resulted in some mild bruising on my hips. In the photo you can see that it has bent at a sharp angle where my hips meet my ribs.) -I also have a shorter than average torso, so overall this corset is a few inches long on me. -As I have come to expect with most costume quality corsets, the sizing is absurd. I wear a 2X in most street clothes brands, but I ordered a 7X in this and it fit. bought this for my halloween costume and was overall happy with the quality. The ribbon that laced the back was incredibly long and hard to work with. the front clasps popped open at the bottom where there wasn’t a lot of tension which was kind of annoying. it also isn’t very good at shaping your waist. Do not expect a steel or very thick boned corset or strong support for this price but for what I paid? It’s WONDERFUL. I have a very large bust and it worked out great. I’m a US 24 I got the size 7XL and I can take it in a good ways top to bottom so a 6 would’ve worked as well. Only complaint is the fabric panel is very short width wise. It’s about 4.5 inches compared to my other corsets 7-8 inches? So if you worry about your back showing I would add a longer modesty panel! I do recommend replacing the ribbons it comes with with actual corset laces for more durability! That’s just my personal preference when it comes to any cincher or lace up corset. ... show more

Lovely, I should have ordered an XL (customer error) but for me, the large fits snuggly and comfortably, even if I feel like a size up wouldn’t have hurt 😅!! The color I bought is Beige, it looks like a pale gold and damn!! This is gorgeous!! Feels sturdy, boning is malleable but strong, and the fabric is thick but light enough to wear if you wanted to wear it alone. I would suggest a strapless, thin bra to hold the girls, but beyond that it’s sexy as hell 🥳🥳 Wearing it on a date with my husband, the outfit I have on in the attached image is what I’m wearing it with. He has yet to see the outfit, so wish me luck. Let’s see if it’s cozy enough to wear on a more active day activity then I will update this review with that information ☺️ Update: Should have updated this a LOT sooner (I forgot to 😅) but the mall was a lot more active than expected, and the corset was very comfortable but I wore it a little too tight than I should have so I was a bit sore in my ribs/waist area. I bought this to go with my vampire costume, for Halloween. For context I’m 5’1”, 38DD weigh about 160. I bought both the 3x (based on reviews) and the 2x (based on size chart) and ended up returning the 3x. I will say the top was loose which was unexpected since a lot of reviews said not for big chests. The back was laced up at the widest I could go so black flap underneath wasn’t showing my skin which worked for me. I definitely needed another person to help lace it properly and there was a lot of trial and error to get it right. Once we had the back right it was a struggle to get it unhooked in the front and to rehook it when it was time to put it back on so be prepared for that! I wore it to my first party and I noticed when I took it off it stayed the shape of my body and I couldn’t straighten it back out. So when I wore it the second time it did start to irritate my sides at the end of the night bc the “boning” was already bent when I put it on. I could maybe get one more wear out if it but that’s about it. Looked great on and I got tons of compliments but it’s definitely a costume piece and not something you can add to your regular going out tops!! You get what you pay for and for me it worked out great because the price was perfect and it held up great for both parties I had! ... show more
