After having returned four sweaters bought on Amazon, I decided this is the keeper. Can't say anything bad about this sweater. I'm 5' 5", weigh 138 lbs., wear a size 38D bra, have a 35" waist, and 40" hips. I'm not a plus-sized woman, but I HAD to have this sweater. Took a chance an ordered a size Small Plus, which is loose but not baggy. I love the fit. The buttonholes don't pucker when it's buttoned, or stretch after wearing. The color (purple) is gorgeous, and exactly as photographed. The seams are tightly sewn on the edges and pockets, and straight. The yarn is thick, 100% cotton. Even so, it's not as heavy as expected, so all I have to do is wear an extra layer during winter. The pockets are sewn securely, evenly, and at the correct location. They're heavy enough to carry a mobile phone without drooping. The hem ends halfway down my thighs...the perfect length to keep me snuggly warm. It will look beautiful, and be warmer with the assortment of mid-weight, colored scarves I own. I always wash things before using. I machine washed this in a mesh bag in cold water on the gentle cycle, then layed it flat on a thick bath sheet to dry. It looks amazing and feels more fluffy. Looking at the photo, I it would look boxy and shapeless on me. That's not the case. The drape is flattering. It looks great as an open strong or buttoned. This fabric is nice and thick. Has great quality fabric! The fit was loose and very comfortable! The sweater can be used for work, everyday, or party! Great value for a high quality product!

I’ve been looking and looking for a sweater to wear in fall family photos I’ve ordered several from others and they all were too small or scratchy. I was very hopeful when I ordered this one and overall it is very nice. It’s not too heavy, it’s not scratchy, it’s just an oversized comfy sweater. With all that being said Amazon recommended I order a 3xl but it looked larger to me so I decided to size down and order a 2xl. I got it in the mail and it is still very large. I plan to return this sweater and reorder it in a smaller size. Just beware it does seem to run rather large. ... show more
