I loved this firetruck for my grandson so much that I ordered two more for gifts. The lights are very bright & colorful! I love how the firetruck goes until it senses interference & then it changes direction so it doesn't crash into anything! The sound is very loud, so be prepared for lots of noise. Gave this as Birthday present. Nice size for small children, it’s colorful, very loud, & the little boy loved it! Truck is plastic & cheaply made, not sure how long it will hold up. Flashing lights change colors which the boy loved along with it constantly changing directions as it ran. The siren is extremely loud for its size, which he also liked, bad thing is you cannot silence this at any point & gets nerve wracking. Dad only wants him to play with truck in garage or outside & puts it up out of reach. I think parents were annoyed at my choice of gift, but the child loved it! ... show more

    • NO VOLUME CONTROL AT ALL
This thing has two settings.. Off and literally BLARING! Pretty good size for tod and it moves. I also love the colorful flashing lights... but I can only use this toy once every blue moon due to the siren. It's realistic, constant, and really loud! Like my pets are sent into a frenzy and the whole house has a headache after about 5 mins. It would be really great if it had a volume or button control. Overall good design, probably good for teaching, but not really for our family. ... show more

I wrote a review for Big Franks fire truck book and mentioned I had purchased a fire engine to kinda go with my little grand son's book, vice versus and forgot I got the little fire engine here on amazon. This is the fire engine! So ,I can say he loves this little fire engine and tries to sleep with it at night, if his Mommy will let him. It was , when he unwrapped it, a little smaller than I pictured it and it seemed a little cheaper made than I thought it was for the price. That is , it was plastic , not metal like I thought it was going to be. I guess I didn't read the description like I should? But ,now that I think about it,it was perfect for a little boy his size and age which is 3 yrs. old. He really can't hurt himself with a softer plastic truck and the thing lights up and delights the heck out of the little guy, so overall ,I'm happy if he's happy!! I brought this item in late October for my grandson for Christmas. When I received it I was very disappointed in the size of the truck and felt it was overpriced for its size and considered returning it. Once I put the batteries in the truck to see how it operated, I knew my grandson would be thrilled with it. It talked and moved all over the floor. I thought it was a little loud, but I could deal with that part. I wished I had used my first instance to return it because the day after Christmas, it did not work. It continued to talk but it would did not move at all. My grandson kept asking me why it would not move on the floor like it did on Christmas, and I did not have a clue as to why. He was very disappointed that it would move. I tried to returned it for another one, but was told that my days for returning this toy had run out. I will never never purchase any more toys or games from Amazon even if they are cheaper than other stores. I would rather pay the higher price when I know I can return it especially if I have my receipt than to purchase a toy from Amazon that stops working and you can not return it. This toy is filed in drawer 13, a piece of junk. It continues to talk very loud so I know it is not the batteries, but it will not move. This toy is an overpriced piece of Junk. ... show more

This is an awesome toy for my 2 year old grandson, he loves it! It is very very loud and sounds just like a real fire truck. I would recommend this toy if you don't mind the noise.
