Although this detail was probably listed, I was surprised to find felt liners that go in between every dish! I was also concerned that my soup bowls wouldn't fit but, the container was large enough for the oversized bowls.

These were great because I got enough to actually sort out the dishware and be able to label it so I know at a glance which was "every day", "seasonal", or "special". After reading the reviews about this set I had high hopes. Well, it didn't disappoint! I was so happy to get my heirloom china out of the ugly boxes they've been housed in for years and into some nice quilted cases. These cases are packaged well for shipping and come with felt separators. They are soft sided quilted cases but have sturdy inserts for the cups and stemware. The zippers are smooth and easy to open and close. The dividers for the stemware and cups are sturdy and reinforced at the top. The label slot on the front of each case helps you find what you need quickly. They look great in my pantry. I've filled these already so now I need more to hold some of my larger pieces. I bought these for my daughter. She really liked them. She packed them up. They were easy to put together. They held her china well and she was able to stack them up and box them with little trouble. They look like they will protect her dishes well. She was really pleased with the product.

I purchased this set in order to move my China from one location to another for dinner party. I have more than 12 place settings and was able to load in 12 to 16 plates including the 12 thick felt dividers. The cup case fit 12 beautifully and I was able to add two additional cups on the corners. The dishes were hand carried, and I’m not sure I would use this for moving, unless there was an outer box with padding. Because they don’t have handles, I used laundry baskets to carry them which worked great. ... show more
