My 8 year old is OVER THE MOON! I got this for him and it's been so fun to watch him exploring it and sharing (when prompted 😏) with friends. The build quality is quite good. The sound is plenty loud, maybe too loud sometimes when parents are trying to talk. The audio books are a little hard to understand. The "Oat Man" and "Goat Fish" turn out to be "Old Man" and "Gold Fish" 😂 When you set to 12 hour time format the alarm setting is still 24 hour format. Very annoying for an American. Battery Life is really good. The cover over the USB port is a bit difficult to get open for small fingers. There is no SD card but the manual refers to it.
