The media could not be loaded. I wanted to have Apple Carplay and a rear camera in my older 2004 Suburban, so I thought I would give this unit a try. I used the adhesive dash mount option, though they include several ways to mount. On my vehicle, hiding the wires for a clean install was pretty straight forward. I was able to tuck them in along the dash under a plastic trim piece; one going right to head down to cig lighter 12V power, the other going left towards the corner column (the rear camera). From there I tucked the wiring in under the headliner all the way back. The included wire for rear camera was long enough to work well even on a suburban. I mounted the rear camera using strong, thick double stick tape to the plastic trim above the rear hatch glass. This higher point gives me a better view and keeps the camera usable even when towing a trailer. The power wire for the rear camera went down to the tail light assembly and I patched it in to the reverse light harness. The instructions are pretty well written and easy to understand considering how bad some manual can be. Connection to my iphone was pretty painless, didn't take long. The rear camera can also be used to view or record video while driving, not just a back up aid. You do have to disconnect from your phone wifi/bluetooth before you can access the video playback function, which is a little bothersome, but I don't expect I'll be reviewing videos often, just in case of a bad event. Since my older vehicle's radio cannot hook audio via bluetooth and has no accessory jack, I keep a bluetooth speaker in there which does have a headphone jack port. This hooks into the accessory port on the carplay unit with a supplied cable and gives me pretty decent sound for Spotify, audio books, whatever I want to listen to.

I’ve been pretty impressed with this device overall. The build quality feels solid, and it offers a surprising range of connectivity options—FM radio out, aux out, CarPlay, and Bluetooth audio—all of which work well. The screen is bright enough for daytime use, though the limited dimming makes it a little harsh at night. There are a couple of drawbacks worth noting. The device can overheat if left in direct sunlight, and it doesn’t use a standard USB-C charger(it uses a proprietary USB-C cable). That means if the included charger breaks, finding a replacement could be difficult. As for the camera, the advertised 4K recording claim seems questionable; in practice, it looks closer to 720p or 1080p. Still, the video is clear enough for everyday use. It also comes with a decent-sized SD card, which is a nice bonus. For an upper mid-range product, it’s pretty good and feels like a solid value. That said, as always, it’s smart to compare and shop around before making a final choice.

Got this for my husband for christmas and he loves it! It seamlessly worked in his truck, and allows him to be more hands free and safe while driving our son home from school. Makes roadtrips so much easier with the ability to have the GPS running and not looking at the phone while driving. I can't believe how easy it is to get Apple Car Play in any car! Never had a problem with connectivity or anything. It's a must have and a great gift!

Amazing product for my teen daughter! This product has been able to assist her in backing up with no problems, allows her phone to connect and has no issues with what music she wants to listen to, and she is now able to talk on her cell HANDS FREE. Great product, extremely satisfied, and HIGHLY recommend. We went with the dash one since her vehicle is hybrid and we could not remove the stock stereo as it shows her a bunch of stuff due to having a hybrid.

Cameras are good. Backup camera great, but running the long wire can take some time to route through various panels and frame (for a pickup). Map display is also very useful for an older vehicle. I have spent much time trying to get consistent Bluetooth and USB connections, and to get audio out to the speakers of a 2017 F-150 truck. The general problem is making 3 systems (truck, phone, HAUXIY) connected correctly when there are multiple settings that have to be correct. The many available online and vendor help screens are all short of detail or include settings that are not available on an older vehicle or they have been eliminated, or renamed in the latest version of an Android phone menu. For example: some help display refers to finding a "sync" item on the phone to complete the connection between this unit and the Android phone, but my phone's version of Android includes this function as part of the operating system and no longer list it in any menu. I'm assuming this sync function is somehow automatic, but could not see how to progress without find sync in a phone search. BTW, to add to the confusion there is a sync software app but it appears to be for syncing data like calendar among multiple devices. So, the camera displays are fine, and I can get navigation going, but even after hours of fiddling I can't just get in the truck and expect all 3 systems to connect and be ready to respond. I've even had to replug the power cable when the HAUXIY unit suddenly went blank.
