The interchangeability of the sides is a unique feature. The magnetic clips work very well and the fit is snug. Its easy to switch and when in use the sides do not wiggle or feel detachable . It performs as expected. The build quality is decent for a budget mouse . It does not feel cheap…or expensive . It feels as expected for a middle range mouse . The cable is thicker and stiffer than most. I do not enjoy that but some may like the robustness of it . It’s definitely not going to break !! I am coming off a mouse with a full numpad on the side and this one is 1-9 , no zero minus or plus (4th row) that is a bit of a change . I do like that there is a space between each button on the numpad. My last mouse had the buttons close in the row and it was super easy to accidentally hit two or the wrong one. This is easier to feel where i am at on the numpad. I have not explored the app too much yet but it uas the usuals , ability to set the 5 levels of DPI to your liking , multiple profiles , RGB adjustment variable report rate . Seems well thought out and much more polished than the app for my other, much more expensive MMO mouse . I got this just to check out and have as a back up. i needed to replace my Razer Naga Pro that I was gifted 2 years ago because the scroll wheel and the click of the scroll wheel was virtually unusable. I found this mouse and decided i wanted to try it out. the modular parts of the mouse are very nice. you get 2 pieces for each side of the mouse. the clicking for this mouse is really crisp, including the scroll wheel click. the nine buttons on the side is really useful. i only really use 1-9 on my mouse when playing WoW, so i'm glad i found a cheaper mouse to replace my previous one. i've had the corsair scimitar, og razer naga, and razer naga pro. it's slightly longer than the razer naga mice, but smaller than the corsair scimitar. ... show more

Great ergonomics in an affordable package. RoyalAxe / ProtoArc didn't have the software available on their website, but after reaching out, they promptly updated the drivers page with the utility download. Took less than 24 hours on a holiday weekend. Surprising response from a company I've never heard of before this purchase. Wish they offered a wireless version with horizontal scrolling. I’ve used so many mice throughout my years of gaming and productivity but this mouse is by far my favorite (other than a couple discontinued Logitech mice). The weight, ergonomics, response, customization AND the swappable side buttons, this mouse checks all my boxes. All around great mouse.

This mouse is not going to feel like a well built, weighted, masterpiece. You probably already knew that though. The only other problems I've seen are that you can't change the lighting style of the wheel and top LEDs(they are always on "breath" mode), and the small shelf under the lowest row of side buttons makes it a little awkward to press them. I don't love those things, but I'm also not gonna take any stars off for them, because the price of this item more than makes up for those. I've had it for 2 days now. Alot bigger than i thought this mouse would be and i do have big hands. The quality and feel was a mid 6/10. I wasn't happy with the cheap plastic feel. The Quality is good, it functions and the responses are fast. The Clicking is smooth and functional, no sticking which is big. Value wise it is good for what you pay. I haven't thrown it or etc, but overall durability is fine, it survived some falls. Gaming wise it does allow for the programming of the buttons. Very nice overall.
