I use these as oil washes for arcylic painting. I can tell there are better quality then normal run of the mill cheap oil paints. The pigments and coverage is much better. I would get these again.

My brother and I are Bob Ross fans and brand new painters just starting out. We started with Bob's set for our first few paintings, until we learned what the Kowalski's did to him and his son. We wanted to find an alternative, as we did not want to support that family anymore. Steve, Bob's son, said he uses this brand for his painting classes, so we gave it a try and we can say for sure these are just as good. Nice and thick a little goes a long way. The benefit of these is they're much cheaper as well. The Kowalski's charge double this for Bob's set. We had quite a few happy accidents in our paintings so far lol, but we have a blast painting some of Bob's pictures and creating our own originals too. ... show more
