We have a winnah!!!! This is the third windshield sun shade made for my '24 Maverick that I've tested. It is the best, by far. It fits perfectly, although you may need to pull some of the excess material around the edges outward, to fully block light from entering. Even if you don't, you are still going to get 98% coverage, which is phenomenal. It expands instantly, from its round and flat shape to a double-sided steel hoop sun blocker. These have been around for years and they last a long time. They are easy to fold up. Just fold in half at the middle and then twist the hoop until it becomes smaller, then join it together. It'll become easy and natural once you get the hang of it. The competition was tough. The folding, accordion-style sunblocker came in second place. The thick, insulating material is hard to beat. One side is a shiny silver and the inside is black. It takes longer to position and get is lined up just right. The gap at the top was significant, and a deal-breaker, TBH. In third place was a roll-up style of sunblocker. It fit well, but and had gaps on the top. I hated the way it forced fitment around the mirror, messing it up each time. This sunblocker, by LHFLIVE, hits all the targets, ease of setup, coverage, small size and weight and very affordable. The others cost more, one by $5 and one by $12, but both worked so-so compared to this one. This comes with a storage bag with a couple elasticized bands on the back, a Velcro closure and a front pouch. Its made from the same shiny material as the sunblocker. This is the ONE to get if you have a Ford Maverick. I'm really happy with it and highly recommend it and would buy it again. 5 STARS! ... show more

Perfect fit but…Anyone who’s ever owned a sunshade knows there is sometimes a bit of a struggle when trying to position in the windshield. This sunshade is a perfect fit for my 2016 Honda Civic Sedan (as advertised). It does a great job at blocking out the sun coming through the front windshield. My steering wheel and dashboard are noticeably cooler, albeit only slightly, after the car has been out in the sun all day with this sunshade in the windshield. To place in the windshield, unfold the shade, slip the bottom of the shade into the base of the windshield, then bend the shade to fit around the rearview mirror, close the sun visors over the top, secure the Velcro strap above the rearview mirror, and finally extend the sides to provide maximum coverage. Make sure to always place the sunshade with the light-colored side facing out the window, otherwise it won’t provide much in the way of reflection of UV rays or heat protection. My issue comes with unfolding and re-folding the sunshade itself. The idea of functionality is great, but the execution…first when pulling this out of the bag, be careful! It’s kind of like a jack in the box, it will pop out all of a sudden. Be sure to hold the shade tight when pulling it out and slowly unfold it keeping a firm grip – otherwise it will explode out to half its full size in one second. Unfolding it to full size and then slipping it into the bottom of the windshield can be tricky at first but over time you will figure out the easiest way to execute this. Finally, when folding back up it’s difficult to get it back to the size where it will fit completely in the bag it comes in. My recommendation to the seller is to make the storage bag a bit larger, or oversized, so that placing the sunshade back into the bag is easier overall. In general, I like this shade as it works as advertised – my only beef is that there needs to be some more thought put into how this shade unfolds and how to make it easier for customers to maneuver within their car. ... show more

    • Seems good, almost a perfect "Fit" for my 2012 Fit (and it's not even advertised to fit 2012)
Size: Fit Honda Fit 2015-2020
Overall, this shade looks pretty good. It fits very well, considering I am using it for the wrong year (2012) based on what is advertised (2015-2020). It is about one inch too narrow on either side, so a teeny tiny peek of sun could get in there. Now, I don't have any shades on my side windows. So that little inch won't matter at all. Even with shade all around, that one inch won't be too bad. So I'm not worried. It's a good fit otherwise. Hopefully someone with a 2015-2020 model can verify that it's a bit better for those correct model years. The silvery side pointing outwards will reflect a good amount of energy, rather than absorbing, and that's good. It's not super highly metallic, but for $20 it's decent. It seems fairly sturdy, and it's not too hard to collapse. Remember to fold in half first, then do the sort special collapsing maneuver for this type of pop-out item. There are video tutorials online if you can't quite figure it out. It's small enough that you can do it right in the driver's seat. Size: Fit Toyota RAV4 2019-2024
Our new 2024 Rav4 has black seats (not our first choice), which get really hot in the sun. So we got this. I like it, mostly. The outside-facing side has a silvery finish to reflect the hot sun. However, the inside-facing side is black. Why is everything black these days? The interior is already too dark due to the black seat upholstery , and the sunshade just makes it darker inside. My old eyes need more light. But I digress. The sunshade is lightweight, stores compactly, and quickly expands to full size when you take it out of the pouch. It fits our Rav4 perfectly and goes on and off easily. The pouch also works as a cover for the steering wheel. This is not that useful, but it's a convenient place to store the pouch while the sunshade is deployed. The only negative I've noticed is that it's not obvious how to fold it back into its pouch. The video on the Amazon product page is useless. The guy in the video does a little twist and a turn and bam, it's folded up neat and tidy. All in about a millisecond. I'm still trying to figure it out. Slightly annoying but not worth taking a star off. All in all we're quite pleased with it. ... show more
