Like the ball: the feel, sound, responsiveness, etc. Distance seems close to other premium balls, despite not being a distance ball. Usually, you sacrifice something but I haven't found it with this ball other than the unpainted version turning green after the first hole

This is solely for the STAFF RAW balls. I loved the idea of an unpainted ball, for the matte finish and the balance. These balls feel awesome in the hand, soft, rubbery to the touch. It’s a great urethane ball, absolutely zero complaints on performance. The picture included was after one round. The ball (performance wise) was still great. The finish, however, was a problem. The ball was next to impossible to find at times, even when you watched the area it landed in. It was hard to see from over 30 yards in the fairway at times. For these issues I would say just stick to the normal staff balls that are painted. Unless you are THAT GOOD (which I am not) you will not see a clear difference in performance from raw vs. painted Staff balls. ... show more
