We have had a heck of a time breaking in this glove. Even my husband couldn't remotely close the glove when it arrived. We have followed traditional break in method with weighted mallet same as past gloves we never had any problems with and after many many sessions with it my 12 year old still can't close the glove. Manufacturer says not to use heat or steam on this glove but we are about to try it because nothing ends seems to work. So don't plan to use this glove same season. Player will need time to condition. Personally I would not buy this glove. My son loves the way it looks but we are a season in and it still doesn't have dirt on it. Waste of money. ... show more
