As everyone says, Willow pumps do not last. Design and Build Quality: The containers are well-designed and built with high-quality materials.     • Pay Attention to the Valve
Color: Milk Container - 24mm
Once you've mastered the Willow Pump (or at least got it working more times than not), you'll want to transition from the costly/wasteful collection bags to these reusable containers. These work great for collection so long as: you aren't pumping more than 4oz per breast (same as the bags) and the valve at the top is both dry and flat. To the former, if you're pumping more than 4oz per breast, you'll be stuck emptying the containers to continue. This is annoying because you'll have to go through the Flip to Finish and Stimulation > Expression cycle again. Personally, that drives me nuts and defeats the hands-free session. So, I personally use a different pump if I know it's going to be a high volume session (like in the morning). To the latter, make sure the valve at the top of the container is flat, not folded. If it's folded, you'll need something small like a toothpick or your pinky-finger nail to flip it back to flat. If the valve is wet, dry it out with a paper towel. If you DON'T have a flat, dry valve when you start pumping you will likely have at least 1 of the 2 following problems: 1. The pump flex tube will over-work. If you hear the flex tube "depositing milk" in rapid succession, the valve isn't flat and dry. The result is that the pump thinks the tube is full and keeps trying to empty it... but the tube isn't really depositing any milk into the collection container. You'll know because the volume reported in your app will be UNREASONABLY high. I've had mine go as high as 10oz... which we know is impossible because the container can only collect 4oz. 2. You'll have a flip to finish leak. If the pump leaks while you have it flipped upside down, the valve wasn't flat and dry when you started. Because of this, when you switch the container from setting 1 to setting 2 (to perform the flip to finish), the suction seal will not occur. Thus, milk will leak from the container while you're trying to do flip to finish. To be safe, I personally put a jar under the pump every time I do flip to finish, even if I'm sure I dried the valve out. I also have TWO sets of collection containers so one set can dry out longer while the other set is being used. But, as that costs even MORE money, I don't necessarily recommend that path. Other than the above, my only complaint is one of the same complaints I have about the pump in general: for a product with such a high price point, I should have the option to customize my sizes. I need one size 24 and one size 21. I should be able to do that without buying a set of 24 and a set of 21. Willow is like an endless money pit if you want it to work properly for you. ... show more

These containers are a must have additional accessory. They make pumping for bottles accessible and save you on the cost of the bags. I read a few other reviews talking of leaks and spills and here is what I have to say 1) read the instructions. They will fix the leaking issues that occur when the pumping is done (there IS a learning curve but it’s worth it to read the short instructions) and 2) pumping with these is not spill proof like pumping with the bags is. You can still move around but bending over is a “no.” Temper your expectations: will doesn’t claim that you can stand on your head and pump with these like you can with the bags Overall a 5-star review and I love pulling unit he bags and using these containers. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 ... show more
