I'm 5'7" w/ a 31in. waist, 28ish in. inseam, and the size small fit perfect for telemark skiing which involves more crouching low into the tele turn stance than alpine skiing. Bottom line - these pants fit and move with my form perfectly. They also have a pretty wide comfort range given the inner thigh zippered vents which are quite effective. Also, many have complained about the belt for good reason - it's totally lame and doesn't work well, so I took a razor blade and cut the stitching on it so I could remove it from the belt sleeve that goes around the back. I then fed a more rigid nylon belt with adjustable clamping plastic buckle through the empty sleeve and it works flawlessly. The belt I used I bought here on Amazon: it's the Mile High Life | Nylon Web Belt | Outdoor Military Belt. Great belt with a flush lying plastic buckle - about 9 bucks, problem solved. Other good features, beyond the cool styling of these pants are the zip side pockets, zippered and lined hand pockets, and two back pockets with good looking and functional flap covers. the zippers are of good quality and keep snow and presumably water out, and they are flush when closed. All in all, these pants are a score, and I highly recommend them if you're looking for well-articulated, good looking, insulated pants for skiiing or snowboarding. ... show more

The quality and fit of these pants is amazing. They easily eclipse anything from The North Face and even Helly Hansen, that would cost $300. In fact I returned a pair of Helly Hansens pants that cost $310, because they didn’t fit right, and then found these in the color I wanted. The material is stout! The zippers are excellent and waterproof. They are well insulated. I was warm with just a vase layer on a day that never got above 19 degrees. On a warmer day, they have great venting that cooled me right off. I found them because I bought my wife a Wildhorn boot bag. If you haven’t checked those out, you’ll be amazed at how well designed they are. For fit, I’m 6’ 0”, 180, with. a 34” inseam and 32” waist. I ordered a medium and a large. Purchased and skied with these on for 22 days this year. Held up great and got a lot of nice comments. Not too flashy, just right amount of styling for me. Bought these to replace an old pair of ski pants for recent trip to Jackson Hole WY. I am 5’11 and 175lb and the size M fit me pretty well. I also tried the size S as other reviews indicated the waist and length of M runs big. The size S did not fit me in the waist (typically a 32 pant). The length of size S was fine, but was too tight across my thighs. The waist and length of M did feel little big at first. I had to cinch down the belt/buckle but it worked just fine and was comfortable. I was worried the legs might bunch up and look and feel funny when wearing ski boots, but they turned out great. These pants kept me warm and dry in heavy snow storm and deep powder conditions with temps in the teens and windy. No complaints! ... show more

Truth, it’s October and I have not worn these skiing yet here in Upstate NY, so my comments are general unboxing and trying on sorts. I am a skier of the 50 years or more on the hill category, a 35 year ski instructor veteran, a avid MTB rider, an outdoor everyday person, and a gear junkie. I expect a lot from my stuff and also have been on a quest to find outdoor clothing that preforms but also hits the lower end of cost, I have been a hardworking trades guy with 3 children and a limited budget for non-durable adventure gear. Over regular use every coat, pant, sock, boot, hat, etc…… wears out or stops fitting right, so for me the expensive super clothes are not for me, I’m a get it done give me a deal shopper. So I wanted to add a fresh pair of resort ski pants to my collection of downhill clothes and I hit the internet for research landing on the Wildhorn Bowman pants seen on Amazon. The specs are typical for pants under $250, but they are like $119, I’m willing to try and with the return policy I ordered. Unboxing and try on: They seem well constructed and promising. My only issue is that they could be alittle taller in the hips, waist, crotch area they feel alittle more “low cut” than I’d like however they are in the right position and I think they will be ok. I ordered a small because I am and at 145lbs, most mediums are too big. Hoping for a great find with these…..time will tell. ... show more

This is a great pant for the cost. I am very impressed with the materials and quality. They are well designed and look great. They are very warm and only require a base layer on very cold days. The only thing keeping these from a 5 star review is the fit. They are a bit tight across my thighs and mid section, but the waist is true to size. I am 6’1 and 212 lbs with a 35/36 waist.
