The original Peloton seat was a nightmare. My behind hurt and so did my vag, I was worried I was going to get a UTI that seat was so far up there. This seat is sooo much more comfortable and easy to install. Whew. Thank goodness, I was running out of cranberry juice.

The seat is comfortable and much better than the original peloton seat, especially if you load is a bit wider than the most. The installation was easy after I grabbed my own tools. As with most products of this nature the included tools are a waste of time and couldn’t even turn the nuts.

I'm a working mom and bought a peloton to try to get more in shape as going out to a gym just isn't feasible right now. I was so upset because within 5 minutes of riding I was literally crying from butt pain the original seat comes with. I watched all the videos about form and adjustments and tried it all and nothing helped very much. I got this seat based on the reviews as a last stitch effort before I return the bik and it is a night and day difference. I could do entire workouts with 0 pain and I can actually see myself starting to like the thing now. It is an entire new seat... wasn't super easy to install just based on the quality of the tools that come with it, but it was totally manageable. My only complaint is that for the price you pay for the thing it should come with a better seat (or at least other seat options... as it might be based on shape- I'm very pear shape for reference). Definitely recommend trying this seat before returning the peloton if you are thinking of it! ... show more

I like the padding, I like the shape, I like the quality, worked with my Peloton. I recommend this product. PS there are other products if your bum is bigger than size 10 that you might like better. I am appx 140 lbs. Just saying, not all sizes fit one.

I loved this seat! I have a Proform C22 Pro Studio bike (essentially a peloton) and the original seat was so hard that I was sore days after each ride. Considering that I needed the bike for my fitness journey made it even worse since I have been biking daily! I had no issues putting the seat on. The first day this seat was put on my bike there was residual pain from the original seat, but the next day I felt no pain at all. I didn't realize how much the pain of the seat was affecting me during my rides until I put this seat on and felt comfort while riding. I bought this for my Peloton bike. It changed the game for my wide ass, for sure!!! It has no peculiar smell and my kitty likes to play with it. Even if my kitty pawed at it, it’s still intact. It is so scratch-resistant and of high quality! And I've been using it for about several days. Highly recommend the Crostice wide comfort seat for anyone that can’t bear the pain from the original seat or just wants a more comfortable ride. Everyone has different butts/hips and might need a better-supported seat. I know there are purists out there who will tell you to get used to the seat because the pain will get better. Finally realized I was tormenting myself for absolutely no reason. No one should feel pain and be uncomfortable. Glad we found the right thing to feel strong and powerful!! We aren’t elite riders most of us. We’re here to get fit and enjoy ourselves. It felt great after replacing the seat. Now I am able to focus on the ride, the cadence, I love my Peloton again!
