I've never understood clothing hangers made from slippery satin, plus my taste is simpler. These off-white canvas padded hangers are the best alternative to the ubiquitous satin, but definitely could use more padding....you can easily feel the metal hangers frame, and anything heavy would compress the foam into nothingness. This definitely needs a little more padding to support slightly heavier items. I’m sure that it will get flat quicker than others I have previously ordered. Also this came with a lot of extra extra plastic packaging that I’m sure is not recyclable.
