  • These still are great so far!
Size: 10.5-11 Color: W75 V2 | Grey Gum ( Water Shoes )
The media could not be loaded. 9/13/23 update. I've had these since 7/19/23 & have used them quite a bit, for their unintended purpose, playing disc golf & I'm really impressed with the durability. Concrete tee pads chew through shoes like a shark through a swimmers arm. I play an average of 3 times per week and they show very little wear. The only drawback is they don't dry a quickly as I thought but they wick water away very well. They're proving to be pretty versatile shoes and great for that "barefoot feel"! I've only had these for a short time and I'm using them for something outside of their intended WATER SHOE purpose. I'm using them for disc golf! I noticed a few people have posted their review complaining about the fact these are not waterproof shoes. Pay attention people! They are water shoes not waterPROOF shoes! That means they wick water away and dry quickly. I purchased them because water shoes are notorious for having pretty durable soles that don't separate from the upper as well as having sturdy but flexible uppers, meaning they're not stretchy. These things are performing great so far! They have more of a barefoot feel, as they should, being water shoes (for those who have posted about the discomfort smh). The soles have a typical water shoe tread pattern and seem to be pretty durable as there's a lot of rotation and movement when I drive from concrete or cement pads yet they show little to no wear so far. The comparison pics between these and the Reebok RBX shoes aren't a fair comparison because I've used the reeboks for 20 or so rounds and only played 3 rounds with the WHITIN's but they do depict the problems with these spongy soles that have a thin layer of rubber tread pattern separating and wearing away far too quickly. It feels as though these will wear pretty well but time will tell. At around $40 I think these are a decent buy and would recommend them but I will certainly update this review accordingly. ✌🏼 ... show more

  • Water-resistant, mostly comfortable, noisy.
Size: 10.5-11 Color: W75 V2 | Blue Gum ( Water Shoes )
These WHITIN Men's Amphibious Water Shoes are essentially a cross between a dressy sneaker and a pair of adult surf socks. They're presentable, keep you dry, and reasonably comfortable. I wore these for four days on a trip to Portugal when weather there were frequent short rains. The shoes dried out quickly when wet. I took several 2+ mile walks in these shoes. The shoes held up well and they were comfortable. Admittedly, they weren't as comfortable as my normal sneakers, but they were more comfortable than I expected. My main issue was that the rubber material made them noisy in both wet and dry weather. The sound of my foot steps were noisier than usual. They also had the tendency to squeak when I stopped walking. All in all, these are good shoes for wet weather and comfortable enough for a substantial walk. They won't ever replace my normal sneakers or walking shoes, but I'll keep them around. ... show more

  • Fit and look
Size: 10.5-11 Color: W75 V2 | Blue Gum ( Water Shoes )
These shoes are comfy, low profile and look good. Only worn them out once, and got compliments. Only issue with the brand can be the soles wearing out.

  • They are ok
Size: 9.5-10 Color: W75 V2 | Brown Grey ( Water Shoes )
I love the fit, I loved the colors... I do not like the nose of the shoe. The paper material in the nose is not strong enough to hold the nose shape. I did not like how the nose caves in for casual wear. It really made the shoe not wearable outside of water or light use shoe.

  • Best Water Shoes
Size: 10.5-11 Color: W75 V2 | Brown Grey ( Water Shoes )
These shoes were very comfortable. The flat rubberized soles grip well. The laces gave it flexibility to adjust the comfort and width for my wide feet. I used them as a back up for sneakers and walking shoes during my cruise. I loved them and would highly recommend them. It is well worth the little extra price over the other cheaper water shoes. ... show more

  • These are amazing. Courier approved.
Size: 9.5-10 Color: W75 V2 | All Black ( Water Shoes )
I used to wear barefoot shoes a few years ago. I stopped wearing the other brand since they were too different looking to my liking. However, I LOVE these shoes. As a courier, I’m jumping in and out of a truck as well as running in and out of buildings all day. I’ve had these shoes for a week now and I’ve had no issues at all with them. No slipping on wet floors and no splitting of the fabric. If you choose to not wear socks, some dust may seep through so keep that in mind. There were a few days of rain and I could feel the moisture on my feet, but it was fine. I haven’t had any foot or knee pain either. I will buy more of these. Sizing info. I typically wear a 10.5 in men’s which equals to a 43. The shoes fit well with a some space at the toes. A perfect fit for me. I have not tried a smaller size to see if that would be better. Again, these are great minimalist shoes. ... show more

  • Comfortable
Size: 9 Color: W75 V2 | All Black ( Water Shoes )
The Whitin brand has been an affordable way to expand my collection of barefoot shoes. These are my favorite shoes! They have the most secure fit of all the Whitin shoes I’ve tried on, and I appreciate the light cushioning of the removable EVA insoles. Although these shoes drain well, they don’t dry fast. However, they do keep out stones and tiny rocks. Beach sand would require running water and a brush to remove. I wear them for everyday with merino no show socks and keep them fresh with a little shoe dryer or sunshine. They are washable. The all black style is versatile. I bought them for the long flight and visit to Kauai and routine wear at home. I’m happy with them. ... show more
