The spike and lug nuts are one piece. It's a very well made product. The design is streamlined with a better look than other comparable product. If you are OK with hand-washing your car forever then this will work for you. If you want to be able to remove the spike without removing the lug nuts from the wheel my suggestion would be sick speed. These lug nuts look great, fit like they're supposed to. The key that comes with them is fine. All in all, decent for the money. My big stink at this point is 6 months later, they're developing surface rust. Not cool. I keep the car pretty clean and keep the lug nuts wiped down, but I can't get down in there to clean the bases and apparently they don't like salt. Maybe I'll take them off and clean/polish them, but they shouldn't be doing this in the first place! ... show more
