If I could give this book 6 stars, I would! Such an amazing tool to teach my kids some of life's most important lessons. My kids adored book 1 of this series (What should Danny Do?) and have been anxiously awaiting Book 2. If its at all possible, Book 2 is even better! My kids thoroughly enjoy reading each of the story lines in this book, while I love that they're learning the benefits of being kind, accountable, responsible, a strong work ethic, standing up to bullying and much more! This book is fun, interactive, highly engaging, and super educational! What more can you ask for in a book? Highly recommended for kids ages 4 to 10! ... show more

    • Not as good as the first
4 stars because this book is pretty awesome, but it's just not as good as the first book. It's a bit more preachy, the stories drag on, and there seem to be less options to choose from. For example, last night my son wanted to go back and use his power to choose (I love that) to change the outcome. When we went back we read the same 6 pages full of lots of detail before we got to a place to choose. Also, the repercussion for making the less good choice are almost nothing. Dawdle and miss the bus, Dad drives him to school (which is better). Don't do the science project, play with goo and get sticky (again, my son thought this was better). It's just not as clear, or as funny, as the lessons in the first book. That said, I would still buy this and I think it's a good book. But if you're trying to decide between this book and the first book, go with the first book. ... show more

    • Amazing for teachers!
Wow! I love! I teach kindergarten and have been anxiously awaiting for this book to be released since it was announced. I do have to say, my students were very into the “right” choices at the start. But we read the book again and picked the “wrong” choices and compared and contrasted Danny’s days when he made the better choices compared to the not so good ones. It was such a good learning moment for them to see how one choice at the beginning of the day completely changed how Danny’s day went. I’m so excited to read this book to my class each year, especially next year when I can read it at the start of the school year. I highly recommend to any teacher! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought this and the first Danny book for my second graders and my grandchildren. They are fabulous!! Such realistic scenarios for children! Kids just can’t get enough of these books.

They did it again! What an amazing sequel to the first book. There are 8 scenarios that you can help Danny "choose" what to do. What a smart way to show your child that he/she can choose how their day will go. That truly is a super power! The illustrations are fun and the text is meaningful. This book is a must have for teachers and parents!! It really makes children think about the choices they are making and the consequences that could or could not happen because of them. As a teacher I love how this book incorporates choices about showing your best effort, being kind to others, following directions, and working hard!     • MY KIDS SCREAMED IN DELIGHT WHEN THIS PACKAGE ARRIVED TODAY!
LOVED THIS BOOK! My kids have the other Danny book and it is a family favorite. We came home today to the new one and my son literally sat on the front porch steps after opening the Amazon box and proceeded to read the entire book before we even walked into the house. I love how these books reinforce to my children that they have the power to control their destinies. It’s a fantastic lesson and one these books illustrate so clearly and beautifully.     • Amazing interactive book for children!
So we got our second "What Should Danny Do" book in the mail today. And when I told my boys on the way home from school, my nine year old said "I get it first!" I'm not sure if they or I loved it more! Such a brilliant concept of getting kids to see the power of their choices and how it affects them and the people around them. The illustration is top notch!
