It is simple to wrap around your head and secure using the velcro strips that allow for a customized fit. The material of these wraps is very nice, but the wrap, even on its most extended section of Velcro, is almost too small for my head. I don’t have a particularly large head, but I even tried them on a few friends with various sizes noggins, but they complained of the same. I LOVE these! they are an amazing deal and I prefer them to any other makeup headbands that I have had. This is because they velcro and you do not have to pull them over your already done hair or hair with rollers in it! That is exactly why I got these! They fit so well, the fabric is so soft, and they are super easy to wash. Just make sure that you put the velcro together so it doesn't snag anything else in the washer! These are great and for $10 is a steal!!! They aren't that traditional towel feel or that overly soft terry cloth that starts to get nasty over time like some similar headbands have. Good quality, soft, comfy, and gets the job done. I prefer these bands with Velcro as it's easier to put on for cleansing my face and putting on makeup. It protects my hairline when doing either. I was looking for a new spa headband and purchased these because of the positive reviews. I gave them 3 stars overall because they are soft and appear to be well made, but they have zero elasticity. Instead they rely on velcro for sizing. These would probably be great for an aesthetician to use on a client during a treatment since the client would be lying on their back and not moving around much. For me, I need a headband with some elasticity to keep it from slipping off my head while I wander around the house. Even with the adjustable velcro, I couldn't get these headbands to stay put.
