The material is sturdy, the opening is good to slip your foot in and out without difficulty, good lining inside (not for warmth but for comfort)... And speaking of comfort, they are very comfortable. Never owned a pair of rain boots but these are a great first buy. Very cute and comfortable and people immediately noticed them. (I purchased the hippie floral pattern)They are very heavy and they feel like I'm weighed down a bit when walking but thats only temporary because you'll get used to it. Thick rubber that keeps the feet dry. I also recommend to size down. I purchased a 9 which is typically my regular shoe size but these boots do run kinda large. Overall I think I made a smart investment by purchasing these for those rainy days to come. ... show more

Great looking boots!!! These are VERY comfy to my surprise. It's true to size. I wear a size 11 and had space for my long toes and I can slide my foot in and out of them with no trouble. I like that they don't make my feet look big and goofy. The only thing I don't like is the calf area is very wide for me. That's good if you have large calves but for small calves like mine, they look large from the side view. The buckle doesn't shrink it much at all. I can't wait for it to rain again! My shoes and socks were soaked last time it rained a few days ago so now I'm ready! ... show more

This boot is supple, pliable material. There is a soft knit material over a foam like cushion in the interior. There is a removable sole insert, which give medium support. My basement flooded 12 inches that kept seeping in for 10 days. I needed boots with traction and comfort to work inside foot deep water, on a cement-concrete floor, and be able to navigate around flotsam and jetsum. I had cement steps and wet wooden steps to navigate with electrical cords running two sump pumps. I never slipped, or had a boot slip off. These boots do not need a lot of pressure to get your foot inside, like a cowboy boot, or tapered dress boot would need. There is a buckle to tighten the calf area. It can accommodate a larger calf, and can since down a bit. I have a small calf, I could not since them down, but the fit was snug enough to keep them on. I recommend these as a quality item to keep your foot dry an warm with flexibility and traction. When I purchased these, the price was $25 for the pair. I wear a size 6 shoe, have low arches and a low instep. True to size. ... show more

I get compliments all the time from my patients and coworkers on these boots! Have to wear boots when I help my patients take their showers as our showers do t have good drainage 😥 which brings me to the best part of these boots. I absolutely loved these boots; until my feet got WET! I wore these continuously to walk my dog during the winter rainstorm. They were so pretty and so comfortable. Then after wearing them for two weeks, my left foot spring a leak and I had an uncomfortable wet sock. No problem, I thought. I stuck my foot in a produce bag and then for the boot. Then a day later, my right boot sprung a leak! Another wet sock! Now I have to wear plastic produce bags on both my feet prior to putting the boots on to retain dry feet. At the end of my walk, my boot is filled with water. Thank goodness for my thought of wearing plastic bags over my socked feet first! ... show more
