This is a great denim like in-between coat. Not too heavy or hot. Fits true to size. My problem area is my tummy, so unfortunately I size up for that reason. I personally found the sleeves a little long, so I just turn them up. Also, this was a little bulky in the shoulders but I didn't want to size down for fear of not being able to comfortably zip the coat. This jacket is well made. I like cotton in general. I was excited to find a heavier cotton jacket. It was better than I expected. Great quality, lined, and warm. I'll wear this into early winter at least. This is a good looking jacket and better quality than I expected. Here's my take: Negatives: I don't know who sized it, but they had a capricious imagination. Somehow it works. It runs a little small, no matter what previous reviewers may have said. Not a lot, a little, so be aware when you order. The sleeves are somehow long, but I've got long arms, so I'm fine with that. It doesn't seem to be quite as warm as I'd expected, but fine with two layers. We just had a sudden drop-off in temperature, so maybe that's it. Positive: You can cinch the waist a little so you avoid that cold weather coat sausage look. It has knit cuffs to keep out the wind on your wrists. When did you last have a reasonably priced coat with that? The hood will help. I am not a thin person and it looks good on me. Do it for yourself! ... show more

Nice lightweight jacket with lots of pockets. Love the detachable hood and drawstring waist. Looks more expensive than it is. I usually wear XL, ordered L because other reviews said it runs big. The Large fits me just right.

I was expecting mediocre at best. This jacket is light, but with enough heaviness, if that makes sense. It’s high quality, pockets are perfect, hood zips off if needed, love the soft cuffed wrists.
